The path that I once took

II

You treated me badly, yet I loved you truly madly deeply.

I gave my heart for you to hold,

burning with rage, you left me in cold.

I tried hard to give my best, now there is nothing left.

Wished you would fight for us,

but u left thinking this was an unnecessary fuss.

I want to scream, I want to hide,

for all the storm you have caused inside.

I want to forget, leave him behind,

erase all the memories in my mind.

As I lay on my bed weak,

I gave my life a peek,

cold as ice,

broken as glass,

looking into the mirror are the lifeless eyes.
