"I love you," he said.

Magical that sounded to my ears,

to which I could never get used to over the years.

I held onto it with all my might,

waiting to say it back when the time is right.

But all I could do was look into his  sparkling eyes,

while my heart pathetically cries with joy.

My hand moves in its own accord to touch his face,

waiting for the dream to just break.

He was there with worry on his face,

probably thinking this was a mistake.

I wish I could tell him :

Ever since I laid my eyes on you,

It is like a dream come true.

I wish I could show him:

how  every time we meet,

my heart would just skip a beat.

I wish I could ask him to

Stay with me and never let go,

as every second my love for you will grow.

But all I did was hug him tight

and prayed for the time to freeze that night.

Closing his eyes he felt her touch,

illuminating his desire as such.

Listening to the rhythm of her heartbeat

the blood running in his veins

caused ripples in his brain.

She was his hope, she was his reason to live.

she was everything he could give.
