GUY 'S POV:

When I saw you for the first time,

I decided to make you mine.

I was smitten,

but you never paid attention.

you were naive,

you are kind,

but you never whined for attention.

you are like the fresh breeze,

your looks make me freeze.

your touch helps me keep my calm,

to which I will have no qualm.

you came like a tide and took me for a ride.

when the thought of losing you came to my brain,

it drove me insane.

When you agreed to be my girlfriend,

I was on cloud nine

I want to be the reason for your smile,

and the time spend with you worthwhile.

you are like a light

in my world which is dark as night

But then, I was scared of the beast inside me

I did not want it to destroy you as it destroyed me

the smile you once had was gone,

thats when i decided it was time for you to move on.

I did not want you to be dragged into my world of secrets,

as you are my only weakness.

I thought of moving on,

but you are the only one to whom I am always drawn.

It killed me to watch you cry,

I wanted to hold you tight

and say everything's gonna be alright

but then I was the one who said goodbye.
