I remember the time when I was young,
you are the one I used to clung.
You taught me how to love,
you taught me how to care, about which I wasn't aware.
You must be one of the gods sent angels,
as you always look cheerful.
No matter what hurdles you face,
you never showed it on your face.
You fight like a warrior when situations get tough,
you become a peacemaker when circumstances get rough.
You take your stand when things go wrong,
letting the world know that you are strong.
You built your small world with us,
you are the one I reach out if it is important to discuss.
In case of fear, I always felt you near.
You hugged me tight,
when things weren't right,
letting me know that everything's gonna be alright.
No one can make sacrifices like you,
Thank you for always coming to my rescue.
You are the lady that I loved as I've grown,
when I had a nightmare you never left me alone.
You always taught me what is right and what is wrong,
which would help me lifelong.
Given a chance I would go back in time,
to relive the moments I had with you anytime.
