Chapter 2 - Taking Glances

Eiffel's POV

Just what I've said yesterday, I'm on my way to our mansion where my mom , dad and sisters lived.

"beep! Beep ! " I just give 2 Beeps to let them know that I'm already here. Alam na alam nila yun since ako lang naman yung gumagawa nun. Our gate automatically opened.

" There you are my baby boy ! I missed you so much! Lalo kang gumwapo! " my excitedly greet while hugging me.

" does that mean , panget ako dati mom? "

" hindi sa ganun , you changed a lot . my baby is man now. Naiiyak ako! " oh how I missed my mom. She's so sweet and lovely that's why no wonder kung bakit nainlove si dad kay mom agad.

"psh! Baby ? really mom !? baby talaga!? He's Bigger than daddy and kuya archy , yan ba ang baby? By the way before tayo mag kalimutan , where's my pasalubong?" she' my twin sister pyra .here she goes again. Haha don't worry , I'm used to it

" laters baby sis. " haha naiirita nanaman sya sa tawag ko sakanya kaya pumasok na agad sya sa loob

"hey lil bro ,how's your flight ?" my ate sweden asked

" ayos naman ate , it's nice to be back. I missed you guys a lot . Is kuya archy here? Haven't heard about him for 3 months. "

" nako ! ang kuya mo , he always stays in his condo , always keeping himself busy all the time. Sa isang linggo maybe 2-3 times lang sya nakakdaanan dito. I really don't know what's gotten into him. " mom stated while leading me to the dining area

It's strange , I suddenly got curious about kuya. It's new , coz before he's a Happy-Go-Lucky guy , a playboy and for Pete's sake he's absolutely a total jerk. Now what? Anong nangyari, di manlang mag open up sakin. I just need to talk to him , maybe he has a reason behind all of his acts.

I saw dad sitting at the center table.

"hey , dad " I said

" Crap , your mom was right! Nag bago na talaga ang anak ko! " he stated while grinning

" it's been 3 years dad e. haha. Its just a little bit of work out. "

"what are you waiting for kniel , your mom woke up early so that she can cook your favorite sisig! "

Eto ang isa sa mga gusto at namiss ko sa pinas, mom's extraordinary sizzling sisig! Geez! Ginutom nako agad.

"a'ryt dig in guys! Dali. " to be honest I'm a very positive person. I may not smile often , pero part na kasi yun ng paglaki ko .

" baka mabulunan ka kniel! Dahan dahan naman. I cant afford to lose a handsome son. " they used to call me kniel , only 'her' calls me Eiffel.

After we ate , we headed straight to our sala. We talked about a lot of things especially the happenings inside the 3 years that I spend in NYC .

"how bout lovelife kniel ? meron ba ? ay mali , meron na ba ..... ulit? " pambabato nanaman ni pyra sakin ng tanong with a sheepish smile on her face. All eyes we're on me, waiting for m answer.

" ever since I left , wala, " then I smiled after I answered. Bakas ang panlulumo ng tingin nila kasabay ng pagbagsak ng balikat ni mom. Okay ? now what?

" well alis muna ako. I want to visit kuya. Bye." Sabi ko para makatakas sa silent and awkward moment na yun , Sabay kiss sa forehead ng mga prinsesa naming nila daddy.

It's 10 am , so I guess he's already in his company. Kuya archy is 25 now , that's why dad let him handle one of out company that deals with hotels and suits.

While I approach the lobby of my brother's company , I'm not shock when their eyes are on me. Hindi naman sa nagbubuhat ako ng sariling bangko , but it's very obvious that I am a very good looking man , bukod sa nasa genes na namin , a lot of people told me na mapagkakamalan akong artist na galing korea, what do they call them ? uhm .. kpop artist? If I were not mistaken , but despite all of that , I just let them notice it, no need to be papansin and I don't and I won't ever play with girls. Loyal nga sabi nila. Haha I've always been loyal , until now, kahit wala nang kami, ugh!

I was in the middle of my deep thoughts suddenly may bumangga sakin........ wait that smell of perfume, that's was victoria's secret vanilla lace. She hurriedly stood up. I keep on searching ob her face peronahihirapan akong Makita yun because of her hair.

"I'm sorry " that voice , that sweet voice. I still recognize it tinitigan ko ang likuran nya habang papalayo sya sakin , I have a very strong feeling sa siya yun . how I wish na sya talaga yun. Woah! My heart beats so fast, I miss her , really.

As I continue walking, napahinto ako sa tabi ng elevator

" sorry to keep you , waiting anne" ayun nanaman yung boses , dahan dahan ako sumulip at nang masilayan ko na kung sino talaga ang may ari ng boses na yun , halos lumabas ang puso ko sa labas ng tibok, gosh! After 3 years nakita ko na ulit sya. I don't know what am I going to feel right now.

Im happy , excited , nervous na ewan. Oh God! What's wrong with me.....

"its okay maam. The meeting will start in 10 minutes." Napansin ko naming tumitingin tingin si headrix sa paligid nya .

"okay. Are the board members here already?"

"yes maam, kanina pa. only you and the president ang hinihintay." She just nod.

"let's go inside. Be sure to take down notes okay?"

"ok po." And with that she entered the room.

Nagwawala ang Sistema ko. 'Eiffel wag kang magpaka saya' , pero kasi di ko mapigilan! I saw her beautiful face again. Pero at the back of my mind , may pumipigil sakin . and that is .....

.

Sadness. Should I start moving on ? aghh! I cant for now. Even after those 3 years, I really cant.
