7 years have past since Ava's mum went missing, Ava was forced to live with her strict uncle and Aunty in the middle of the village. They had put guards at her room doors to make sure she didn't leave the house unless for a good cause. She would cook and clean for them everyday but the one thing they didn't know is how much Ava was eager to go into the forest.
Today was Ava's 17th birthday nothing to exciting, well to her Aunty and uncle because they didn't even notice that it was her birthday.
Ava woke up remembering it was her 17th birthday; she slammed the doors open almost knocking the guards out and ran down stairs. Ava: "Aunty Ella!! Uncle jack!!" It's my birthday we should do something fun to you know celebrate..." Aunty Ella: "GO BACK TO BED WERE TRYING TO SLEEP, AND UNDER ALL CIRCUMSTANCES WE ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING FOR YOU BIRTHDAY AND IDC ABOUT YOUR STUPID BIRTHDAY"!!!
Ava ran back up the stairs to her room, for once she wanted to do something fun for her birthday, But NO she can't bc her uncle and Aunty are to lazy.

Something glistens from the window. Ava hops up wiping the tears for her eyes, it was a note with a small gem attached to it shaped in a heart, she thought it was very familiar and the note said. Happy seventeenth birthday and I hope to see you one day in the forest. To be continued...
