Shiro was in blinding pain, more pain that he'd ever been in his life. He was currently trying to black out, but that didn't seem to be working.

It stopped suddenly, and he opened one of his eyes a slit. Standing in the beam of light from the door was Princess Zora. Her curly black hair cascading down her shoulders, and her yellow eyes glowing fiercely.

"Haggar," Zora snapped in a commanding tone similar to one Shiro had heard Allura use when she was scolding Lance. "I need to speak with you."

"Princess Zora, I'm very busy," Haggar said dismissively.

Zora's yellow eyes narrowed, "You will address me as Empress Zora, as I am the heir to the Galra Empire. When my Father fell, his mantle of power passed to me. I've overlooked your insubordination until now because I value you as someone who was taught me much. You will speak to me whenever I wish it, and the time is now."

Haggar took a step back, and Shiro was sure if he could see her face, that there would be shock written on it. "Yes, of course Pri- I mean Empress Zora. I apologize."

Shiro wasn't completely sure whether or not Zora was acting a this point. He certainly hoped she was still on their side, as if she wasn't she may have proved to be more dangerous that Zarkon himself.

"Excellent," Zora said briskly. "Then you can prove your loyalty by sending the Black Paladin down the the Prison Bay for execution."

 "What?" Haggar stammered.

"I believe my order was clear. You had this human in your posession before he was even a Paladin, and you had a chance to do your little experiments then. Keeping him alive is a mistake, he could escape at any time, and then Voltron would have a Black Paladin again," Zora snapped. "Or perhaps you would like to join him?"

Shiro couldn't believe what he was hearing, was Zora genuinely trying to kill him?

"Of course, it is was you wish Empress," Haggar hissed. "Take him for execution."

Shiro was seized roughly, and hoisted between four Druids, who began dragging him out of the room.
