I cant believe my baby is officially a three month old. A very happy baby she is too, she is starting to stay stay awake longer and she follows me when ever i move around the house. When Chris comes over you cant get her to do anything else she stares at him for days. I was sitting in the living room sketching and i had Adelynn in her bouncy I turned her towards the TV , she was watching the baby channel. I heard the door unlock so i knew it was Chris i gave him a key because he started watching her while i was on meetings and at the store. I decided that i was going to stop persuading him and letting him just come to me when he is ready.
"Hey." He said.
"Hey."
"Whats up ma?" he said. I already knew she was smiling she always smiles when he talks to her. I don't blame her he has that affect on me. I heard her kicking her feet, letting him know that she wants to be picked up. "Yea i know ma." He said. He started unstrapping her, then he and her sat on the couch behind me.
"She is going to be spoiled." I said.
"She already spoiled."
"Yea but she is going to get worse.....look." i said. I turned around and showed him my sketches, he looked at it and smiled. "You like?"
"Very much." He said. I was starting a baby line since I had Adelynn she has been a big inspiration to me. I placed the pad back down and decided to go make me some lunch. I made something to eat for Chris and I and grabbed a bottle for Adelynn so he could feed her. The relationship that Chris and i had was convient for the both of us. I wanted to be with Chris but i also had to respect that he needed time to heal. I just wanted him to know how i feel but i also have been done with all that crying and now i have Adelynn to keep my mind occupied. I watched him as he feed her and she went right to sleep in his arms, i was loving the relationship that they shared. I know she had him wrapped around his finger, i chuckled he looked up at me.
"What?"
"nothing." I said. I grabbed his and my plate and went over to the sink and started cleaning our dishes. He walked over to me and stood behind me, i tried not to let him see that i hated when he did that. It would make my body confused, had my body thinking yes this is it and then he turns around doing something else .
"what is so funny?"
"You." I said. I turned around after i dried the last dish putting it in the cabinet. he came a little closer, I stared at him. "you are because you got her spoiled and she knows that she got you wrapped around her finger." I smiled and walked away, i didn't need to be too close to him the way i was. He followed men i see he put Adelynn in her bouncer and put it on vibrate she loved that. I sat back down and finished up my sketches.
"Yea i guess she does....but thats my lil mama." he said. he smiled at her, i just shook my head. "Anyways i got something to ask of you. I nodded my head for him to continue. "My moms is coming up and she wants to see Adelynn, her being her first grandchild...and i wanted to know if you can do me a favor." He said. I looked at him he was looking everywhere except me what was up with this dude i never seen him nervous ever. I thought he looked cute being shy, i chuckled and he looked at me. I covered my mouth and he rolled his eyes. "Listen she does not know about the breakup i told her that you and Adelynn moved in with me." I could not believe what he just said. I had top stand up for this one, i would have thought he told his mother what happened.
"You didn't tell your mom?"'
"Nah."
"Why?"
"Why would I?" He said. He looked at me like i was crazy.
"I don't know....i just figured..."
"If you think she did not like you before she would've hated you when i told her what happened." Damn. i nodded my head though. "I just need this small favor you and Adelynn move in and when she leaves then we can go back to normal routine."
