My days in the university became different. I lost my friends, people started to hate me and boys started to throw bad jokes on me. I became a freak, an outcast. Nobody talks to me anymore. No one even wants to get near me. Max now have a girlfriend and she seems to reconcile with the others. Those lesbians who used to smile at me before started to look at me with hatred. At first, it hurts but as the days goes by i just get used to it. The Phillips are always around but Sean is not. She seems to avoid me for some reason.
"Hey guys! We got an announcement!" Everybody gathered around the university's student council president.
"The grand masquerade ball is scheduled on the 28th of the month! So you guys better find yourselves a nice dress and dates now!" Every clapped and whistled. All of the students seems to be excited except me and the Phillips.
Time seems to pass so slow today. I still have four hours left before the class ends. I was walking to the university libraby when i felt that strange feeling again. Someone's warching me or worst, following me. At first, i tried to ignore it. Maybe i'm just being paranoid. Or i was just thinking about Sean so much. I walked faster to reach the area where i know there's more students hanging out with their friends. But i already went to different floors but i saw no one. Not a single student or professor.
My hands started to sweat and my heartbeat rapidly increased. This time i'm sure, someone's following me. I decided to go out of the building. For sure there are students outside. But to my disappointment, it was raining very hard that no student dared to even stay at the halls. Fuck! Why do i to be so unlucky?! I decided to go out of the university. Our college's building is the nearest to the main gate so i can get out safely. There are guards there for sure. But i was stopped by a vision of someone standing in the middle of the hallway. I looked closely and realized he's a man. He seems to be waiting for me.
Out of instict, i ran as fast as i could. Till i get out of the building. I reached the west of the garden where the gate two is located. I have to run faster. I need to get out in public. I should be safe their. But i forgot one thing. Gate two is being used by the maintainance department for throwing garbage and smoking. I was welcomed by an alley, stinks with the smell of man's urine and garbage moisture. I followed the way where i heard the sound of car horns. It should be the main road.
"Huh!" I almost loose consciousness because of the impact i felt. Someone threw me to the wall. I grunt as i tried to stand up but a strong hand grabbed me and forced on my knees.
He took in my scent, sendig shivers down my spine. He's nose gliding on the sideof my neck as he tilted my head. I was shaking in fear for i sense danger. My breathing almost stop everything he licks my neck. My fist starts to white as i balled them on my sides.
"You smell so good.." He said mockingly. Then he forced me to face him. Red eyes almost bloody, pale white skin and... white, sharp... fangs?!
