Chapter 3

Getting to their house was a breeze but getting through to Jason was harder. I walked up to the house and nocked on the door. There was no answer. I turned around to scope out the place. Just then the door screeched open and a dark shadow with an unfamiliar face welcomed me in. I thought I recognised the voice but I couldn't be certain. The person offered me tea and I then put together the pieces. "Grandma Rose how nice to uh...see you again."

"Hello dearie."

"How have you been grams?"

"Splendid and you?"

"Fine. Is Jason home?"

"Yes he is just upstairs in the study."

"Thanks grams."

I headed up to the study to find Jason on his computer finding blood donating stores to raid. He was my first cousin. His part of family and mine have bad blood so we try not to communicate. "Hello Jase." He ran towards me and asked, "What are you doing here?"

"Well, I have come to deliver a message from Jasper."

"So where is it?"

"Oh, right here," I pulled it out of my pants pocket. He read it and then folded it back up. "Tell Jasper i said keep in touch if there is any difficulties." I nodded and walked out of the room. Walking back downstairs, I told Grandma Rose goodbye and showed myself out. On my way back I thought about what was in the note and why they had to keep in touch because of difficulties.
