Chapter 4
Arriving back at the house, I headed back to my room. I opened up my laptop and listened to music while checking my email. Hey, I can also have a social life. 15 minutes later I heard the main door open and then footsteps up the stairs. I had a keen sense of sight, smell, and hearing. Coming through the door was my friend Sam. Her full name is Samantha Scott. She is a vampire and can predict the future. She is also training but today is Sunday, our break day so she could stop by.
She grabbed me from behind and hugged me. "So how's it goin?"
"OK."
"Just ok!"
"yeah."
"What's bringing you down?"
"This claiming is kicking me in the ass and I can't wait to be with Jasper!"
"Well slow down you have a little time left."
I nodded and continued playing on my computer. She soon came and sat by me to join. We pretty much hung out the rest of the day.
When she left I took a shower and joined everyone downstairs for dinner. It was Sunday and Malorie usually had one of her chefs cook a grand dinner that would just go to waist. When I got downstairs Every one sat in scilence. While eating, one of Malorie's subjects, Miranda, tried to start a conversation but decided against it. Dinner went really quick. After it was all said and done I went back up to my room. When I got up there, I took a nice long shower. When I got out, I dressed and went to bed thinking this whole day out.
