I fix my fitted black dress that goes down to just above the knees. I throw on my black ballet flats and then Jordan knocks on my door. "Come in."

"How are you feeling?" he asks.

"Honestly, nervous that I'm going to trip," I chuckle.

"It'll be fine." He's so sweet and I hug him. I then put on my blue graduation robe and cap. I walk down stairs and there is Shawn, looking way better in the robe then I ever will. When he sees me, a huge grin spreads across his lips.

"Hello gorgeous," he says and whistles. I instantly blush and his smile gets bigger showing his perfect white teeth.

"You're not so bad yourself," I say to him and he chuckles. I wrap my arms around his waist and look up at him so he can kiss me. He places a soft kiss on my lips and I want to grab his face to kiss him again but the presence of my dad stops me.

"Well we should get going," my dad says clapping his hands together but he insists on taking a quick photo first. I then jump into Shawn's car and he speeds off to the school for our grad. He pulls into his usual spot and is by my side in a fraction of a second. He opens the door for me.

"You do know that people could've seen you," I tell him as I get out. He rolls his eyes and kisses me.

"I could care less." I then roll my eyes and I walk towards the gym. Just as I go to open the door, a short teacher walks over to us and tells us to line up in alphabetical order in a line with the other grads. They are leaning on a wall outside of the gym. Shawn and I are only separated by a few people but it's still too many.

They start the music and we walk into the gym and sit down in the front row until we have to wait by the stairs on the right side of the stage. The principal just gives a huge speech on how much she'll miss us and finally we go to stand at the stairs. She calls lots of names and it's then my turn. "Kaitlyn Little," she says and I walk up the stairs, grab my diploma and I shake her hand. My brother and dad are hollering in the back.

She calls a few names and then Lyla, followed by Shawn. After he shakes Ms. Sargent's hand he walks right over to me. "I hate being away from you," he whispers and I smile.

"Me too," I whisper back. When she says congrats to the graduates of Forks High we then throw our caps in the air. Cliche or not, it was fun. Shawn then grabs my hand and we head off the stage. "Listen Kaitlyn, Lyla is throwing a graduation party and I just wanted to give a bit of a heads up."

"Okay, who's invited?"

"I think all the graduates." Of course Lyla did. Georgie then walks up to us and I give her a hug.

"Congratulations Kaitlyn and Shawn," she says.

"How long are you here?" I ask.

"As long as you guys are," she tells us and I look up at Shawn who's not surprised.

"That's great." And I hug her again. My dad and Jordan finally burst through the sea of people.

"Well, I gotta head to work baby girl but congrats and I love you," dad says and he hugs me.

"I love you too and see you later." I then turn to Jordan. "Wanna go to a party tonight?"

"What kind of party?" he asks.

"A graduation party at Shawn and Lyla's house," I tell him.

"A party with horny teenage girls, hmm, I'll pass."

"Please! I really want you to come," I plead.

"What's in it for me?"

"You can bring your boyfriend."

"I can't, he's on a trip with some college friends."

"Anything you want then," I say, instantly regretting it. He looks over at Shawn.

"Okay, I get to touch Shawn's abs for 2 minutes."

"Deal," I agree and Shawn looks over at me. Then Jordan skips away merrily.

"Seriously?! You didn't even ask me," he says picking me up and running outside.

"What? It was the only way to get him to come," I say pouting and he gives in.

"You know that you are a pain in the butt and you're lucky I love you." I smile at him and he just shakes his head.

"I know you love me and you can never be angry at me." I then notice Griff staring at us. I motion for him to come over.

"Hey," he says.

"You'll be at the party I'm guessing," I say to him and he nods his head. Shawn then pulls me away into his arms and runs off. "Slow down Shawn, where are you going?"

"I'm stealing you for the rest of the day until the party." I like the sound of that. We place our robes and caps in his trunk and he drives over to my empty house. I run inside and he shortly follows.

"So, what are we gonna do?" I ask.

"Hmm, I could give you a makeover," he says.

"Hell no, I do not trust you."

"You don't trust me? I'm deeply hurt," he jokes. I roll my eyes and I just grab a couple slices of pizza from the fridge.

I get out of Shawn's car and we head into his house. Lyla didn't go completely overboard, just simple decorations and a table full of cupcakes. I notice Griff sitting on a couch and I head over. "Hey stranger."

"Hey Kaitlyn, I got you a graduation present," he says grabbing something from his pocket. He pulls out a small wooden wolf on a leather chain and he puts on my neck. "I carved it myself."

"It's a very lovely necklace Griff, thank you." I gave him a quick hug and went back over to Shawn.

"Look at what Griff gave me," I say as I show him. He smiles at my smile.

"I got you a present too. Close your eyes." I obey and then he tells me to open them. When I open them, I see a very beautiful crystal amethyst stone charm. He then adds it to my necklace. "It's beautiful Shawn." I then pull him close and I give him a deep passionate kiss. This was the best party I've been to in a long time. I look around and I spot Georgie and she's gripping a table. We rush to her side.

"What is it Georgie?" Shawn whispers very quietly. She finally finishes her vision.

"It's an army of our kind but all newborns. I don't know what they want yet," she explains.

"When will they be here?" he asks.

"In 2 weeks." Shit.

"Listen Kaitlyn, I'm going to be constantly protective of you. I'll always be at your side," he says. Then Griff walks up to us.

"My pack can help you, you don't have the number plus if it's all newborns they don't know that werewolves exist." Shawn nods his head and shakes hands with Griff.

"I'm going to call as many friends as I can to help us," Georgie says and she leaves. This was the start of a shaky alliance.
