Chapter 9: Be Still My Soul, Be Still.

If you disregard me Lord,

If you don't hear my prayers, 

What would happen to my soul,

If you don't lead the way? 

If I try to call on you and tell you everything, 

Would you tell me what to do about the hurt and the pain?

I am consumed by constant disappointments and heart-rending experience, 

If you don't help me now then where else would I go? 

What will happen to my heart if  you don't cure the hurt?

But you see I trust in you, no matter what they say!

Lord, I will trust in you, even though it seems you're so far away. 

I know that faith requires patience, I'll try to fight my weaknesses.

But when I feel like I can't make it...

I beg you, Lord. Don't leave my heart in pain.

Wait patiently upon the Lord,

My God, my God, I bow to you. I humble myself, oh majesty. 

If all things fail, don't you forget about me. I'm still here hoping and faithful to you. 

Jesus, my savior, I surrender my life to the cross. My pride, my ambition, I am not particular about it anymore. You are more important than anything in this world.

I realized life is not always what it seems, I have to fight for what I truly believed in. But how disappointing others are to me. They are like ferocious wolves waiting to consume me. I am alone in my struggle, nobody wants to help. 'Still I know that you would lift me up in my darkest fears. 

I cry, I whine, I stumble and I fall. Is this a test of faith oh Lord? I know I need to be patient, I need to be strong but the path I'm walking is full of temptations.

Is it my mind or my heart that is giving me doubt? I really want to trust you no matter what the cause. I know you said I'll be facing many perils like Jesus did, but I never expected it could be this tiring and difficult.

What should i do Lord? I am but a weak soul, easily tempted and easily fooled. I know that you're there but don't you give up on me now. I want to be strong, I want to be close to you as possible.

I am still waiting for that promised of a happy life with you in Heaven.

I am still waiting for your Son Jesus to take away the pain.   

I am waiting, Lord. Always waiting for you.

MESSAGE:

To all those who wait upon the Lord, never lose hope. Be still and be patient. God is able and He is mighty. When He is silent, it doesn't mean that He's dead or not listening. He is simply preparing a better life for you. Remember that life here on earth is temporary and it's not perfect. We can always whine or cry about all the bad experiences that we have but there's always hope in Jesus Christ.
