Let them see you in me

I walk on the street and what do they see?

A humbled person or still the arrogant me?

I know for a fact I am beyond forgiveness,

The debt that You paid is more than a proof.

I know my redemption is through Your son Jesus,

His death on the cross made me a new person.

But how do I display such pleasing character

To those who know me and strangers unknown?

I don’t want to be a hypocrite in the sight of my Lord.

Please teach me and guide me to be like you even more.

Father,

I bow on my knees. I humble myself to you. Please take away all the lies and bitterness in my heart. Renew me, take away the pain and help me forgive those who hurt me. Free me God from rage, mourning and wretchedness. I want nothing of it, I want peace in everything.  Make me your new creation. Use me for your glory. I abide in you my Lord. Guide me, mold me and hold me. I want to live according to your purpose. I will take your hand this time. I will follow you forever.

I want people to see you in me.

Amen.
