Chapter 5

Emma's POV

Its been a week since Hook took me and my father back home to our castle and I missed him. While my father staid below deck trying not to throw up due to seasickness I had nice talks with Hook and he was starting to grow on me and being away from him crushed me.

"Emma since your birthday your father and I have decided that we should have another ball. What do you think?" My mother asks.

"Could we send Hook and invitation? He was the one who saved me after all and I feel like I need to repay the kindness." I say.

"Well I dont see why not. David is that alright with you?" My mom asks my dad.

"Sure. If its what Emma wants we will send him an invite." My dad says.

It was the night of the ball so many of the same people where here for last time, but Hook wasnt here.

"You are so lovely." A voice says behind me.

"Ohhhh.. Its you." I say as I turn facing Neal.

"I heard Blackbeard kidnapped you. I hope your safe and not tainted." He says.

"Whats that suppose to mean?" I ask.

"Well we cant have a Princess who has been tainted or in other words touched sexually by a Pirate." He says.

"Blackbeard didnt touch me and I was saved by Captain Hook. So not all Pirates are bad." I say.

"Captain Hook saved you. Oh look Hook is here. I would watch out if I were you Emma. He is the worst Pirate of them all. If he ever was with you sexually... Well you will never have a Prince want you. Ever." He says before walking off.

I saw Hook and when he saw me a small smile appeared on his face. I then ran outside and took a deep breath. When I felt someone place a hand on my shoulder I wanted to scream, but I couldnt because it felt welcoming.

"Are you alright love?" Hook asks.

"Im fine. That Neal really makes me sick." I say.

"Look I only came here to give you this. You seemed to have left it on my ship." He says handing my Swan pin.

"Oh thanks you I thought I left it on Blackbeard's ship." I say.

"Nope I found it in my bed and when I got the invite I thought it was the best time to give it to you. Now I best be going." He says.

"No! Wait, you dont want to stay. I wouldnt be home if it wasnt for you." I say.

"Like I told your father. I dont need a reward for saving you. I had to help him I know what its like to have family missing. He didnt need to send the invite." He says and began to walk away.

"Hook... My father didnt send the invite to you. I did. I wanted to repay you for your kindness. You could have killed me on my birthday, you could have not helped my father, you could gave sold this pin, but you didnt. I really do feel I owe you." I say.

"You owe me nothing love. I really should get going." He says.

"Okay." I say.

"Oh, and Princess Why a Swan?" He asks.

"Swans are my favorite." I say.

"Well I see you around Princess Swan." He says and walked away.

I smiled at what he said and my face went red. Maybe I had some fe.... Though my thought was interrupted by the sound of the doors hitting the wall and when I snuck in the back I saw the Evil Queen had made an appearance at our ball.
