badass clary

chapter 3

Clary packed away her sketch book and pulled out a small leather bound book that she keeps in the draw beside her bed. The book contains runes that she created and ones that she learned. Clary had the ability to create new runes or make ordinary runes more powerful. She asked Magnus if this was normal and he said no. She heard the door open and quickly his her rune book and picked up another reading book.

And in stepped Luke Garroway. Ex shadowHunter. And her mum's best friend and a werewolf,not that he is aware that Clary knows. 'Hey Luke!' Clary greeted. 'Hey Clary! I didn't know you could read books upside down?' Luke asked 'i don't that's why I'm trying to learn' Clary said with as much enthusiasm as she could muster.

Then Clary noticed all the boxes her mum and Luke were bringing in. 'what with all the boxes? She asked.

'Just tell her Joselyn!' Luke said
'tell me what!' Clary exclaimed
'well are going on vacation to the farmhouse for the rest of summer' Joselyn answered.

'The rest of summer'!' Clary practically shouted.'There is no way I'm going to the farmhouse for rest of summer! I have plans! With Simon and my art classes! Clary screamed.

'im sorry Clary but we are going'. Joselyn stated.' no I'm not going! You go I don't care. I'm staying right here! Clary screamed back.

Then was a crash. Luke knocked a painting over 'im leaving' Luke stated 'wait!' Jocelyn exclaimed 'Just talk to Clary Joselyn!' I mean it! ' Luke said firmly. As he reached for the door handle. Then Simon opened the door 'JESUS!' Luke exclaimed

'No just me but the resemblance is uncanny'. Simon said 'am I interupting something? Simon questioned 'no Simon! Let's go already! Clary yelled. While grabbing Simon hand yanking him out the door.

JACES POV

Jace laid back in bed looking at his ceiling.he was trying clear his mind but it kept going back to one thing. Clary. The demon said her name was Clarissa Morgenstern but she denied it. It also said Valentine Morgenstern was her father and she confirmed that.  Why can't he get this girl out of his head! He walked down the hall to the training room. Maybe he could let off some steam as he was welding his blades he thought back to the conversation last night.

Jace wanted to see Clary agian and he didn't really know why. He felt a connection to her he hadn't felt with anyone else before. Jace replaced his blades and walked back to his room. Jace got changed into shadowHunter pants and a light blue shirt and grabbed his seraph blade and stele and went to walk out but as he got to the elevator.

'And where do you think your going?' Isabelle questioned 'out' Jace said simply. Isabelle pointed a finger at Jace 'you better not be going to find Clary or Hodge will skin you' Jace just shook his head 'im going out for coffee,I'll be back later' he said as Isabelle nodded.

Jace had managed to get a cab to Brooklyn. As soon as he got out of the cab he noticed a flash of red. Clary. He seen Clary with that dork Simon. Jace felt his heart flutter when he seen her. As he followed her his heart was beating fearously.
