As they got to Java Jones their friend was already onstage Clary thought he looked constipated. 'this is going to suck so bad' Clary predicted. She tugged at Simons sleeve and started to tug him out the door 'come on if we leave now they will never know we were here. We save our ears! Clary pleaded. Simon shook his headed deteamined 'im a man of my word,I'll get coffee you find us seats ? What do you want?' Simon asked 'black like my soul's

Simon took off to the coffee bar muttering something and Clary looked for a seat up the back ,she finally found an unoccupied love seat at the back.the only other person nearby was a girl absorbed with her iPod. Clary thought to herself hopefully Eric won't find us up the back.

Clary felt a tap on her shoulder and she jumped but she seen the girl that was impressed in her iPod 'umm is that your boyfriend'she asked. Clary almost snorted. 'no he's single,he just my best friend.' the girl looked suspicious 'is he gay?' Clary shook her head and winked at the girl as Simon put their coffees down.

Don't look now Simon but see that girl with the blonde hair she thinks your cute.  Simons eyes flickered over to the girl. 'the girl with the orange top. Simon looked doubtful. 'what makes you think that?' Simon asked.

Clary tried to respond but was interrupted by microphone feedback and eric wailing into the microphone 'come my faux juggernaut, my nerafious lions!'

Clary screwed her face up 'who uses the words lions?' she asked ' Eric does in every single one of his poems'simon answered. Clary screwed up her face once agian.

'so how about this girl that thinks your cute si? She was determined to get Simons attention on this. 'nevermind that now, there's something I want to talk to you about.' simon replies. No not agian Clary screamed in her head. Not another like you conversation.

'ypur not gay are you? Clary asked hoping it would distract him.'if I was gay I'd dress better' he mumbled 'no Clary I like... Oh god here it comes Clary says to herself.

Jace watches the scene in front of him, he finds it quite amusing. The mundane is trying to confess his feelings towards her but she's trying really hard to avoid them. Jace started to laugh but covered it up with a cough that's when her emerald eyes met his. At this Jace got up and left but really he just went outside.

As he got up he heard her following him outside. 'where  the hell do you think your going?'  the fiery red head.spat out.he just smirked and pulled out sensor making sure there's no demons in the area. 'ypur friends poetry is terrible.' he stated 'i don't care about his poetry she hissed out.

'why are you following me?' she asked 'who said I was following you?' he said trying to sound bored but really he had butterflies. 'just tell me the damn reason your here Jace!' Clary was starting to get annoyed.

'hodge wants to meet you at the institute' Jace finally said with a huff. 'well what if I don't want to go.' Clary snapped back.' 'you can either come willingly or non willingly. Your choice' he said looking bored. Jace kinda wanted her to fight him so he could get closer to her. 'is that a threat?' she asked 'yep' Jace answered 'bring it on pretty boy'. She remarked. She was about to get into a stance when she was cut of with.. RING RING RING!

Clary let out a fustrated sigh. Clary answered the phone with 'ill be home soon I'm not going to die!'
'no Clary do not even come home,go stay at Simons or someone's. Just don't come home!'joselyn hurryly got out. 'Mom! Mom! Who's there?Mom! She was screaming in the phone.

Jace walked over to Clary and said 'clary' what's wrong?' Clary ignored him. 'stay out of my way' and with that she thinks ok off in a run.

Clary was sliding across taxis, running at Red lights and pushing people out of the way. She knew her mum was in.some serious trouble. She got to the house and door was off its hinges with scratch makes everywhere.

Clary looked around and thought this is bad,very bad. She grabbed her seraph blade and began scooping the house to see if there were any demons. She could find any of yet,she made her way to.the bedroom which she found a note that read " Clarissa dear,I'll be back for you.-V. She had scoffed and started packing a bag of clothes,weapons and any essentials.

Suddenly she heard a  thud followed by a slivering noise then she noticed it a long scarlet creature with  a cluster of dark flat back eyes. It was cross between an alligator and a centipede.it had a thick flat snot with a long barbed like tail  whipping from side to side and multiple legs bunched underneath it ready to pounce. A ravener demon.

Clary smirked as she got into  a fighting position the ravener pounced but Clary rolled out the way just scratching it with her blade.The ravener hissed at her.'Girl, Flesh so delicious to.eat' it hissed. Clary pounced and got it's snout with its blade as she did it spun around knocking Clary and off its feet and throwing her seraph blade across the room.'to eat,to way' it hissed. Clary remembered she stole jaces sensor and it was the only plan she had right now.

The ravener hurled into.her knocking her to the ground and pinning her legs and arms down she tried to get it off but it was much too heavy. The hot breath snunck of blood Clary couldn't breath she tried to free her hand with the sensor. It's mouth twisted as it opened its mouth Clary quickly shoved the sensor in and it started to twitch she tried to move but it wasn't fast enough the ravener tail hit her in the back of the head. As she blacked out all she could think was SHIT!
