badass clary

chapter 7

Clary felt alone at the institute. She couldn't trust these people as all they did was associate was  her with her father. She was nothing like him. The only person close to a father was Luke, Clary needed LUKE. Clary needed to contact Luke.

She made her way around the institute until she found the big Oak doors of the library. Hodge was sitting writing at his desk then he looked up and smiled at Clary.

'Ah Clarissa.

'Hello it's Clary. she seethed she hated being called Clarissa.

'Sorry is there something I can do for you? Hodge questioned.

'Umm yes I need to call Luke he would be worried. Clary said sweetly.

Hodge looked concerned but then changed his mind quickly. ' And who is Luke?'

"Lucian Greymark - Don't play dumb Hodge.'

'I guess but be Quick's he said.

Clary dialed the number and after the third ring he finally picked up.

'Luke it's Clary!'

'Clary are you okay?'

'Im at the institute,He's got mum! I'll come to your house and you can keep me safe.'

'No Clary. Your safe I don't want to be involved with your mother's problems.' Luke said sternly.

But Luke'. Clary pleaded

No Clary don't call agian!' Luke said

Clary sat the phone down with tears threatening to pour out but she held them back.

'guess you will be staying here.' Hodge said smirking.

'Not if I can help it.' Clary said while storming out.

Clary stormed out! There was something up she just had to find out what it was. She had to go home and find out what it was. Luke would never say that about mum. She was making her way to the elevator after she grabbed her seraph blades and stele. But the elevator was blocked by the shadowhunter trio,they stood there with their arms across their chest.

Clary huffed when she saw the shadowhunters. They were all staring at Clary with such anger.

'And where do you think your going?' Jace questioned

'Home. To find out what my mother was hiding.' she answered

'I dont think so. Your not going anywhere.' Alec spat.

'You three move or ill find another way.' Clary threatened.

'Id like to see you try.' Alec laughed.

'Fine,suit yourselves.' Clary huffed.

Clary walked away from the shadowhunters and pulled out her stele and started tracing a rune on the wall for a portal. The next thing they saw was blue swirlling paterns of a portal. Clary waved and jumped through the portal then it closed.

The three shadowhunters just stood there in awe.

'Are you kidding me!' Jace exclaimed.

'What are we going to tell hodge' Isabelle questioned

'Nothing. We have to find her before Hodge realises she's missing.'Jace answered.

'No way. She could get us seriously hurt or worse killed. Are you seriously going to risk that?! Alec sternly asked.

' She's a shadowhunter and so are we. It's what we should do if it was anyone else you wouldn't question it Alec.' Jace said shooting Alec a glare.

'Fine but if things go to shit it's all on you.' Alec remarked

' Fine lets go' Jace smirked.
