I know. I'm a jerk. I haven't updated in weeks. I have excuses. First, I got a really good book that i couldnt be bothered to put away for long enough to update. Then, for the next two weeks i literally had play practice EVERY DAY until 9:00. That brings us up to today. This is the first day I didn't have play practice until late, so I am updating now. :D I won't be able to update until Monday after this because the musical is tomorrow and Saturday and then my friend AliceRaven18 is sleeping over my house. So it may be a long time.

Merma screamed.
"Would you stop?" Piper said, " It's getting annoying."
"Well I'm sorry, I'm being ridiculous," Merma said with the most sarcasm Piper had ever heard in one sentence, "There's nothing scary about going to THE SITE OF A FIRE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!!!!!"
"Exactly," Piper said. She smiled.
Merma groaned with frustration. "How are we supposed to find out what the hourrer were doing? It's not like they're just going to tell us!"
Piper shrugged. "You never know. Come on, the staircase is still sturdy." She began the dangerous climb up the burnt staircase.
"Are you saying that you don't even know how to find out? You took me out here and you don't even know what to do!" Merma ran her hand through her pink and blonde pixie haircut.
"Pretty much. Exciting, isn't it?" Piper smiled like a child who had just been given candy.
Merma closed her eyes and inhaled, trying to be patient. She followed piper up the dangerous staircase. "What if they're still here? I mean, it killed you before, so it can kill us now."
Piper shrugged as if she didn't care. "This way," she said, "Be careful of that hole in the ground."
Merma stepped over the giant gap in the floor, barely able to reach the end with her other foot. She almost fell backwards. She screamed again.
"Would you please stop?" Piper whispered angrily. She shined her flashlight around the room. Merma was about to say something about how rude Piper was being when she saw something out of the corner of her eye. She turned and before she knew what was going on, she was flun into a shelf and knocked out as a mirror fell on her head.
