Merma couldn't move. In fact, she couldn't do anything. She couldn't hear, see, or feel anything. Except the terrible pain in her head. Oh, her head... Where was she? Was she still in the apartment? Or was she... no, she wasn't dead. She was sure her head wouldn't hurt that much if she was. What happened? she wondered. She had been thrown into a wall and a mirror had fallen on her head.
So Piper wasn't crazy. Great. There were Hourrer running around and she couldn't do anything about it. She tried moving again. No use. She could only sit and wait.
-----------------------------------------------
"LADY OF TIME!!" Merma yelled.
Piper was startled by Merma's sudden outburst. She had been about to call an ambulance. "Merma!" she yelled. "You're okay! Thank goodness. I was afraid-"
"Do not move! Stay where you are!" Merma yelled.
"What are you talking about? Do you need to go to the hosp-"
"Do not move! Stay where you are!"
"Merma, you stop that!"
"Do not move! Stay where you are."
Too late Piper remembered that the Hourrer had a few more powers than just telekinesis. The Hourrer could posses, and the Hourrer could teleport.
------------------------------------------------
Merma awoke to find that she was in a completely different place than before. She was sitting in a room that was (almost) completely dark. She could barely see anything. But what she COULD see was Piper. Strapped to a table. Struggling to get away. Merma wanted to get up and help her, but she couldn't. Every time she got up, she became dizzy.
"Piper?" She called.
"Mrphrp!" Piper's mouth was covered by one of the straps. She couldn't talk properly.
Suddenly, The lights came on. It hurt Merma's eyes. Oh, her head...
The room was a lot bigger than Merma had thought. The ceilings were high above their heads, and the door-covered walls were far from running distance. If Merma could run anyway. The paintings on the walls and ceiling were amazing. They popped out like a 3-d movie and the colors shone. The floor sparkled. She tried to get up again. And failed. She wished she could get to Piper, and then felt herself move toward her. She squealed in fear.
"Mrrma? hrw d yrr grt herr?" Piper mumbled through the strap on her mouth.
"I guess the floor moves," she whispered. "Do you know where we are?"
"Hrr. Horr. Herrer!" Piper groaned.
"It's okay. I understand. The Hourrer, right?"
Piper did a comfirming "Hrmmph," and Merma nodded.
"Why are we here?" Merma asked.
"As hrm."
"What?"
"I think she's telling you to ask me." Merma heard a voice behind her. She tried to turn around, but got dizzy again. She thought she was going to get sick. The floor spun around. Her suspicions were correct. She was sick all over the ground. As soon as it hit the ground, it disappeared into it.
"Wonderful," the voice said disgustedly. Merma looked up to see an old man.
Merma inhaled nervously. "Okay," she said. "Why are we here?"
"You are here because we are trying to find the Doctor. WE hope that if we keep this timelady here, he'll come get her." The man smiled.
"Who's 'the doctor'?"
"That's unimportant."
"Why would he come just because Piper's here?"
"None of your business," he said. Merma wrinkled her nose at his childish comment.
"Why do you need this 'doctor' anyway? Are you sick? Why don't you go to the hospital?"
"Why didn't we cover her mouth?" The man said to nobody in particular.
"Okay... one more question."
"Wonderful," the man said sarcastically.
"Why do you need me here? Can't you just let me go?"
Piper's eyes widened. Merma wouldn't leave her, would she?
"I suppose we could release you. You aren't a threat. But we won't bring you back to Earth." The man flipped a switch on the wall, and Merma instantly felt better. She stood up and turned to Piper.
"I'm sorry," she mouthed.
No you aren't, Piper thought, feeling angrier than she ever had in her century-long life.
