Merma and Vievlach sat in a restaurant, talking. Vievlach had changed his skin to a very casual looking light blue.

"We need to make a plan to save Piper," Merma said. "Any ideas?"

"No," Vievlach said. "Sorry. It seems like an imposible situation, and I'm not creative."

"Sure you are," Merma said enthusiastically . "It's okay, I'll think of something myself. This isn't your problem." So Merma thought. And she thought. She thought so long that she was afraid she would hurt her brain. Then she had an idea. "So all you have to do to be in the government is have platinum skin?"

"Well no, but-"

"But people will believe that you're part of the government if you have platinum skin, right?"

"I guess, but-"

"Even the government?"

"I suppose, but-"

"So If we were to make our skin platinum, we would be able to get to Piper?"

"I'm not sure, but-"

"Perfect! I have a plan."

"That's great, Merma, but you should stop talking RIGHT NOW, because there are government people IN THE BUILDING!"

Merma turned around. There were three men with platinum skin in fancy suits ordering food. She tried to act natural. "So, Vievlach. What are you going to order?" she asked awkwardly.

"I think I will order the shrimp. WHat will you be ordering?" Vievlach said, equally as awkward.

"I will be ordering the blue salad," Merma said.

"Are you sure you don't want the red salad? It's spicy."

"That does sound interesting. I will have to think about it." Merma pretended to think hard about her options. " I think I'll meet in the middle and order the purple."

"Ah, a good choice," Vievlach said as the waiter approached their table. They ordered their food and ate, as the food came immediatly. THey made uneventful conversation as they ate, and when they finally finished their food,  they 'casually' walked out of the restaurant. THey sat outside on a bench, making sure this time that there were no platinum people around, and lowering their voices in case anybody was going to tell on them.

Merma told Vievlach her plan. He thought it was unbelievably unoriginal, but decided he would help. Since it was Thursday, they would wait two days and do it on Saturday when they both had off from work.
