A/N Ooh, exciting. 96 reads! I'm hoping that this actually gets popular... Anyways, comment and tell me how it is! I would love suggestions, although I generally know what I'm going to do with it. Please don't try to make me add The Doctor, though. I already know what I'm going to do with him.

Merma had started to think that she was on another planet when she had seen the strange colored skin of the people in the first building she was in, and her suspicions were confirmed when she saw the multitudes of moons in the sky, and the sidewalks outside that moved like the floor that had helped her get to Piper. She watched the rainbow colored people walk by as Vievlach asked, "So what is it?"

Merma turned to him. She told her story, starting at the thrift shop. She tried not to talk bad about the hourrer, though, for fear of offending Vievlach. She wondered if he would believe her.

"Interesting..." he said slowly.

"It's true! Please believe me," Merma said, then lowered her voice, "And please don't tell anybody."

"I already promised not to tell anybody," He said. "But... In school they said there was only one time lord left. Is a time lady different?"

"I think they're the same." she said, and then, "You said there was another one? Piper would love to hear that. She thought she was the last one of these things. What's this guy's name?"

"He's called the Doctor. In school they told us that he has stopped some of our...endeavors on Earth."

"What 'endeavors'?" She asked suspiciously.

"I don't know," Vievlach said. "All I know is that the Doctor stopped them."

"Maybe that's why they have Piper. They said that they wanted to find the Doctor, and I thought they were just sick or something. But maybe they meant him. The only thing that's confusing me is why they'd use Piper."

After a moment of thought, Vievlach said, " Maybe they think he'll want to find her because they're the last ones."

"You're a genius, Veivlach! I think I met the right hourrer." She said, then winked.

Vievlach smiled back, then dropped his smile and said, "Those people must have been criminals." Merma nodded. "So how can I help?" he asked.

"Can you tell me more about your planet?" Merma asked. "I know absolutely NOTHING about it and I think it would help to know more."

Veivlach frowned. " I thought I'd be able to do something more... interesting."

Merma shrugged. "Sorry."

He smiled thoughtfully. "That's okay. At least my part's legal."

"Yay! Optimism!" Merma clapped quietly. "Anyway... Can you tell me more about your planet? Maybe starting with what it's called..."

Vievlach laughed. "Othion."

"Right... I knew that. Othion."

"Sure you did," he said, rolling his eyes.

"Do you know anything about Earth" she asked. "That would be helpful."

"Yes," Vievlach replied. "I took Earth culture as my foreign class."

"Man, your foreign classes are pretty interesting," Merma said, admiringly.

"I guess," Vievlach said, trying to hide his pride. "So what do you want to ask?"

Merma breathed in loudly. "When I was in the kitchen, I noticed that each person who had a certain job had a certain color of skin. Like, the chefs had blue skin and the servants had grey skin. Why is that?"

"We change the color of our skin. It helps keep everything more organized."

"You can do that?!" Merma asked, and Vievlach nodded. "Oh my gosh!" Merma yelled, a little too loud. She covered her mouth.

"Yes, we can," Vievlach said. "I could do it right now if i wasn't at work."

Merma lowered the hand from her mouth. "Why can't you do it now?"

"I believe on Earth you wear... uniforms?" Vievlach asked. Merma nodded. "This is pretty much the same. I have to wear this to work."

Merma laughed. "I love this planet!"

"So do I," Vievlach said.  He was very proud of his planet.

"So who leads your... Do you have countries?" Merma asked, and Veivlach nodded. "Okay. Who leads your countries?"

"Anybody who has platinum skin is part of the government."

Merma thought back to the strange place that she was at with Piper. Some of the people there had platinum colored skin. Others had other color skins, but they may have just been the workers.  "Vievlach," She said, "I think that the government is keeping Piper! Your GOVERNMENT is trying to find the 'doctor!" She made air quotes with her fingers.

"I think there would have been a vote. Our government has votes on EVERYTHING."

"Ooh, a corrupt government! This planet just keeps getting better!" Merma said excitedly.

"Hey, it might be cool for you, but I actually have to live here."

Merma's face dropped. "I think I do, too."

"I'm sorry," Vievlach said. "I didn't know you were staying."

"I have no way of getting home."

Veivlach stayed silent for a moment. "Do you want to go back inside? It's almost time to get back to work. We can finish scheming at four when work ends."

"Sure," Merma said. They stood up and walked hand in hand into the mansion.

A/N I swear this literally took me five and a half hours to write, and it's still really short. I'm going to cry. I just stopped editing it eventually.
