Chapter 4

Oh no! Oh shoot! Dang! Flip! Chapters my flip canon! What? What did I just think? "Oh no the turkey!" Mr. Roberts screamed! Job looked worried. Mrs. Roberts stood there in her funny clothes. My wife said, " I'm sorry! It's are fault we called you, and distracted." Everyone stood there silent for what felt like 5 hours till mrs. Roberts spoke "oh the turkey's monsters coming!" That made my wife cheer up we all laughed. It lightened up the mood. " ok what are we going to do?" Job asked. " oh sonny dear it may not be like the pilgrims and the Indians but were not pilgrims and Indians it's not about food it's about family." My wife finished. " we have plenty of food so let's eat!" Mrs Roberts called, of course she'd say that (not to be rude) my wife shook her head and called everybody to the kitchen to help. She took the beans out of the oven and handed them to me. Indicating do not drop! And I knew not too, she handed the corn to mrs. Roberts and the sweet tea to job. They put the corn and tea on the table we hade forever! I carefully set the beans down. " I might have some leftover meat from the luncheon for the school house." My wife said. She threw the meat on the pan. She was on the board of directors at the ole' school house. She took the meat out after 5 minuets. It was already cooked. She put it on her mothers antic glass plate from when she was a kid. She pushed the tea over, to a perfect spot. Job looked guilty. She put it down and set down and smiled. " wait!" I stood up and said. I took a match from the cabinet, and sparked it up from rubbing it on the bricks on the wall. I began to light the candle, but i dropped the match! I lit like a wild fire! It caught the tablecloths on fire! My wife and all the others screamed,"AAAAAGGG!" My fire yelled, " get the fire extinguisher!" I ran and opened the rustic cabnet, and pulled out a huge red steel extinguisher- I sprinted back to the flames of the cloth and I pressed the handle to let out the air- but it was too hard to press down- uggg- "help!" I passed the extinguisher to mr. Roberts but it seemed that he couldn't get it- he threw it too job since he was young and strong. Job pressed it hard and the compressed air bursted out in fury and made the fire dissapear- my wife had ran and got water from the well, she splashed it and made all of us wet- she didn't notice the fire was gone. We stood there. They looked at me, it was awkward.

I burned all the food! They table was burnt. The table clothe was gone the glass plate was shattered and the smiled were all tired into frowns. This was the worst thanksgiving ever!
