Red of passion
Blue of pain
They were once great friends
Knew each other's qualities by name
Yet Red had desire too
Wanted to give love
And receive the same
But knew not his way to the human heart
So Blue devised a plan
Even knowing it'd drive them apart
He'd hurt the heart
Till the brink of insane
Giving way for Red to make his way
But he'd have to change his name
So Red of pleasure
He became
And even though the two could coexist
There presence together
Was so much for the heart to weather
And pleasure
Was so different from passion and pain
They fought and fought
Never finding resolution
Each ending in vain
Till never were they friends again.
