Shattering hearts
Why can't I just say my thoughts?
Each word a weight
Building up
And drowning me so
In my own mind and heart
Sad throes
Of the quiet
Of the unspoken
Of the hidden
Hiding
So you'll never see
The failure that's me
No need for speech
No need for words
For your heart I've heard
It sings to me
A beautiful melody
Of love
And no love lost
Longing embossed
Into the very essence of your being
No need for words
No need for speech
I see
My heart isn't breaking
Be relieved
I still love you
And I know you love me
