I sit at the front of the room, my mind wondering off into space. My teacher stands at the white and writes down all the answers to the exam, while ranting about some mathematical equation.

As he rants on and on. i begin to space out, thinking of all the things id rather be doing besides sitting in this boring ass class, with literally every single ex i've ever had.

"Mr. Morley?" I hear Mr.Douglas ask. I look up at him through my sunglasses.

"You paying attention?" he asks.

"Yes i am." I say, knowing damn well that was a lie. and so did he.

"Mhmmmm."

He turns back around and continues writing on the board, as i start to zone out again. The next i hear is the bell ringing, signaling the end of school. I jump out of my seat and rush to the door swinging it open quickly and hurrying down the hall to the front doors of the school. As i reach the front doors the halls started to fill up. I push the front doors open and hurry out into the summer sun. It was finally summer, and that meant time for fun. As i walk down the gravel path that leads down to the student parking lot, i see my friend Dorian standing beside his car.

"Hey fucker! what are you already doing out here?" I yell over to him.

"Oh you know, skipped my last class to go get some food." He replies as i get within ear shot. I laugh and pull out the keys for my white and blue Honda CBR 600.

"Took the bike out today i see?" Dorian points out.

"Ya she needed a good ride after the winter. and spring wasnt too wet for me to bring her out."

"Tell me about it. I just got my audi A3 out of storage."

"You have to let me drive that car sometime again." i laugh and nudge him a little.

"Maybe Jake. I'll think about it."  He laughs and gets in his car. "Well buddy i'll catch you later. ill shoot you a text about that party ok?"

"Ok Dorian sounds great. Safe driving my fam."

"Safe driving to you too, brother." He pulls out of the spot slowly and drives off in his metallic silver Dodge Dart. I keep walking over to the other side of the parking lot where my bikes parked. I put my bag down beside my bike and grabbed my biking jacket out of it, slipping it on, before putting my bag back on. I sit on my bike and start her up, reving the engine a couple times to get her going. I grab my black helmet off the back of the bike and slip it on, adjusting the strap so it's tighter around my chin. As i take off out of the parking lot i see my friend Lexie standing at the bus stop. I pull the face shield of my helmet up and stop my bike at the side of the road beside the bus stop

"Hey Lex. You need a ride?" i ask as i get off my bike and stand it on its kickstand.

"That'd be great Jake." she replies. I give her a smile, and motioned her towards the bike.

"You brought your bike out finally." She sounded excited to see the bike out on the road again.

"Ya the baby has come out of storage finally. She needs the new engine installed, and probably a good cleaning still though. So i might bring her into the garage and install the new engine today. Ill have to see what free time ill have."

"Well a least you'll have her up and running for the summer."

I grin widely

"Ya i love my baby." I say slowly getting back onto my bike, letting it off the kickstand.

"I know you do, you big shot." She gets on the back.

"wheres the extra helmet Jake?"

"Back in my locker. ill go grab it quickly." I get off the bike giving her my helmet. "Now Lexie, i'm going to trust you to drive her back into the parking lot so you're not sitting on the curb."

" Oh Jake, you know you can trust me with her."

I give her a smile, and start running up the hill that leads back up the front doors of the school. By the time i got upstairs to my locker i was sweating buckets in biking jacket. I open my locker and grab out the white and black helmet that sat at the top of my locker. I shut my locker fast locking it up, and hurrying back down stairs to meet Lexie.

"Took you long enough." Lexie yells as i come down the path. I just roll my eyes and continue down the stairs that lead to the parking lot. I put the white and black on as Lexie moves to the back of the bike.

"So Jake remember how you said you wants to install that engine and clean her up?" She asked. "Well i'm thinking maybe i can come help?" I sigh and look back at her.

"I guess i could use the help. Besides my mom and brother have left for Australia  already. So i go the house all summer."

She gives a little smile and flips the face shield back down, wrapping her arms around my waist. As i start the bike back up again and pull out of the parking space i feel lexies grip tighten. She was all about motorcycles, so she knew the rules of biking with me. As i race down the street going about 60, even though the speed limit was 50 on city streets. I stop t the lights at the end of the street putting my foot down to balance the bike. As the light changes i take off. Flying down the street turning left on the third street down. I go all the way down the street and turn onto an old gravel road, i slow down not wanting to slip. As we get farther up my house gets within sight. The grand arch way that held the front gates was standing high. As we approach the gate i stop and put my foot down. I lean over and type in the pin code for the gates. As the gates slowly open inwards i drive into the parking, going faster now that we were on asphalt. I pull up to one of our three garages and park my bike just outside. Lexie gets off slowly, going over to the control panel on the stone wall and typing the 4 digit code in for the garage. The door starts going up slowly, as i turn my bike and pull into the garage parking and turning my bike off. I hit the kickstand to keep the bike up, as i got off.

"I forgot how nice your house was Jake." She looks around the garage and walks over to the side door that leads inside.

"Ya may i say i enjoy being the richest kid in town." I say laughing jokingly.

We both head to the door, i find my house key on my keychain and unlock the door. When we get inside we take our shoes off and carry them through the house with us. Lexie and i head down to the basement, opening my bedroom door, and placing our bags on the floor by my desk. My room was messy, my bed unmade.

"So what you say we get to work?" Lexie says excited.

"Ok lets go." i say heading back out of my room, and upstairs to the garage.
