Hey Rays of Sun! (Idk why I call you that lol) I can't believe that my story would have this many reads! Thanks to you all and please check out my new book, 'Adopted'!
Without further adieu, Chapter 4!

"Of course. I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Gaeran." 'Gaeran' told us.
"You say this is your necklace?" Sadie asked. "Well Mister, finders keepers!"
"I can see you don't believe me. Would you like me to explain somewhere OUT of the cold? Like my house in Mount Everest? I'm nearly frozen to death!" Gaeran said, starting to get impatient.
"And you're cold here." Alasne said sarcastically.
"Can we talk it over?" Sadie asked, not giving him a chance to respond.
"How can we get to Mount Everest from here? That's on the other side of the world!" I said to him confused.
"I'm a sorcerer. Are you coming with me or not?" He exclaimed.
"We can't trust this guy! He's a random stranger from another dimension, obviously!" Sadie exclaimed, looking around the group.
"Well," I hesitated. They both looked at me. "I ... trust this guy." Ever since he started talking I felt like I knew him all my life. I was never going to tell them in that moment, though.
"You can stay here and stay in MYSTERY, or come with us. Your choice, no pressure." I decided out of the blue. I turned to Gaeran. "I'm coming with you."
"Very well. You two?" Gaeran asked smugly.
Alasne and Sadie rolled their eyes at each other. "I guess." Sadie replied, sighing.
"Lead the way Gaeran." I said, all of us turning to him.
"As you wish." He said mysteriously. He turned his back on us and mumbled some mumbo jumbo. It sounded Italian. He said, "apriti sesamo". Just after he said it, a swirling mass of green opened up in front of us. I thought it was a portal, though I could not tell. Gaeran stepped in it and vanished.
"One, two, three!" Alasne yelled as we ran into the 'portal'. I instantly felt as though I was floating in a dark mass. I saw a light in front of me, so I attempted to swim to it. A few minutes later, I was at the end of the portal. I swam around it, and found more emptiness. Here we go. I thought as I came back around. I held my breath as I swam through. I struggled to see through the sunlight's rays reflecting off the snow
"ALASNE! SADIE! GAERAN! ANYONE! WHERE ARE YOU!" I yelled spinning round and round looking for them.
"Behind you." Gaeran said right in my ear. My heart jumped to my throat.
"You scared me!" I said.
"Your house is where?" Alasne asked, still not on board with the whole idea.
"In front of you. Behind that rock." he replied, pointing to a rock. I cautiously walked over to the rock and checked behind it. There was nothing. I stepped one more and the house was in view. Another spell! The house was a mansion, a beauty.
"Go inside. M.M. has tea waiting for you three." Gaeran said, opening the door.
"Thank you!" Sadie gasped as we all walked in. there were red velvety chairs and couches, a dark brown coffee table, maroon curtains for the large window. The floor was oak, and three cups full of tea. Three delicate cups of china!  What a wonderful sight. It all seemed familiar. I looked upon the blood red walls and noticed a row of portraits. The last one caught my eye. The reason? It was me!

Portrait on the wall. (... I need artistic help.)
