Chapter 9

Alasne, Sadie, Sarah and I set down beside the Great Pyramid of Giza. There, I taught Alasne and Sadie to turn half dragon. Little did we know, Ace saw us overhead and followed us here. Carma saw them on the horizon a few minutes later. Preparing for battle, we got up and stretched with few minutes to spare. About fifty feet from us they stopped.
"Well, well. Who do we have here?" Ace taunted me.
"The fiercest force you will ever see! Including," I said, looking at Sadie. She nodded. "And your daughter."
"Sadie?" he asked, confused. He thought she was safe and sound at home.
"Yes Dad." Sadie replied, stepping forward. Someone went up to Ace and whispered something to him. Ace nodded.
"Layren, please forgive me. I love you!" Rohen, my father, said.
"Dad!" I cried. I turned to face everyone. "Change of plans. Rohen and Ace stay alive. Everyone clear?" Everyone nodded.
"For family, love and friendship." Alasne said, putting her hand in the middle of the circle. She looked around.
"For family, love and friendship." Everyone agreed, putting their hands with hers.
I turned our rivals. I flew into the air and added, "FOR PEACE!" My gang ran (and flew) toward everyone else. I attacked Robert first. In his hand was a gleaming axe. I shot water in his face, blinding him. He swung his axe around aimlessly. I swept him off his feet, and picked up his axe, throwing it behind me. Robert lay unconscious on my right. M.C.C.C. came at me next, throwing a punch. I easily deflected it and Alasne froze her arm. I kicked her in the face, also knocking her unconscious. My Dad was next.
"Layren." He said, dropping his sword. "I love you." Alasne froze his body, but left his head to breathe. I left him, tears in my eyes, and felt a wind blow. Sand blinded the enemies eyes. I rose into the air again, summoning a tsunami. The water missed everyone except people on the bad side, not including Ace or Rohen. I looked down. Just below me, Audrey was fighting James and Troy was fighting Brittany. Brittany and Audrey were really good at karate! Sadie and Carma ganged up on Ace, resulting in Sadie bribing him to drop his weapons. Gaeran and Sarah had ganged up on Jaco, reversing all his spells. I picked up a stone and landed behind Jaco.
"Over thirty years I waited for this day." I said, gritting my teeth. I bashed him on the head with the stone, also knocking him unconscious. We left his body to help Alasne fight Vogan. He was much more experienced than her (and all of us at that) which resulted in her having many mouthfuls of sand. I started punching him from behind. He turned to me, but I was already gone. Gaeran opened a portal underneath him, trapping him in the pyramid. We then passed Audrey and Brittany working together to pin James and Troy down. Alasne and I trapped Ace in an ice igloo, then Sarah opened a portal to Audrey and Brittany's house, which was guarded by magic. We did the same for my dad. I conjured up an oasis, for everyone to drink from. Soon everyone was laughing and talking. Frost walked up to me and nuzzles my hair. I pet his nose and looked around, and did a head count. Everyone was safe and alive! I spoke too soon. Alasne fainted, shooting an ice crystal. I watched in slow motion as Sadie and Carma caught her while the crystal shot straight through Sarah's heart!
