Chapter Eleven - Free Rein

The sun is shining through a gap in the curtains. This makes me slowly open up my eyes. I better wake up since Iruka Sensei told us to get up at and meet in the lobby at 9:00AM, I look at the alarm clock at the bedside table, it reads 8:45 AM. I better get ready now then, I get up and wash my face at the sink...I feel more awake now having splashed cool water at my face. I get dressed into a yellow t-shirt and a orange knee-length skirt with black tights. Before I exit the room I slip on some orange sneakers and a grey jacket on.

I walk of room 12 and lock the door before slipping the key into my pocket. Standing outside my door was Kiba Inuzuka. No I'm going to go shy now! I really hate myself like this! Why do I have to react this way around Kiba? I can feel myself heating up and my face going red.

"Hi Ino." Kiba greets me,

"Hi." I manage to say, although I'm not really looking at him - I seem to be more interested in my keys at this moment in time.

"Oh I thought I'd walk with you to the lobby...I mean you might not no your way there." He explains,

I just reply with a nod, even though I actually do know the way I don't have the courage to say so.

So we walk together down the halls in silence, until we finally reach our destination in the lobby. I see everyone is already there apart from me and Kiba.

"You two your a bit late, did I not already tell you to get here at 9:00?" Iruka tells us more than asks. Around I can see people staring at us curious as to why we're both late. Sakura turns to Karin raising her eyebrows "Why are them two late? I wonder what they've been doing, I think they should be punished." Sakura says loud enough for everyone to hear. This makes me blush...a lot. But also makes me want to make a massive dent into that billboard brow of hers. Now everyone is staring even more than ever. I just look at my feet and try to pretend they aren't there.

"I'm going to let it slide, but if that happens again you will be punished." Iruka says sternly,

"Ok Iruka Sensei" Kiba says. I join Shikamaru, Choji and Hinata.

"Ok everyone today I'm going to let everyone go around where ever you like," Iruka explains which causes lots of whispering, "BUT I want everyone to meet back here at the lobby at 7:00 PM. Then when you get back here we will get ready and go to the fair together."

Everyone just nods and go into their friendship groups then wander off in all directions excitedly.

Shikamaru raises his eyebrows suspiciously at the Sensei's, "Wow so there just going to let us have free rein and wander around freely? Its like they can't be arsed to look after us or something..."

"Awww Shikamaru, do you have to be so suspicious? There letting us have freedom so just enjoy it!" I say.

"Well look at Naruto he's definitely enjoying this." Choji states pointing in Naruto's direction. "YAY! WWHOOO! THIS IS THE LIFE!" Naruto screams out loud running into a candy store going crazy,

"YAHOO!" Kiba yells running in after Naruto with Akamaru bounding at his side jubilantly.

We just stand there for a moment, not knowing what to do.

"We're n-not used to doing whatever we want, were usually lead by a Sensei, so what do you want to d-do?" Hinata asks quietly,

"First I want to do shopping!" I answer back happily, smiling hopefully.

"Well...ok...this is going to be such a drag..." Shikamaru complains but reluctantly follows us.

"OK I want to go into that shop!" I walk into a clothes stall, with the others following behind not as enthusiastic as me.

I happily eat the yellow ice lolly, whilst swinging my legs. The sand is whipping around, the humid air surrounding me. Me, Hinata, Shikamaru and Choji are eating ice lollies we just brought from a stall. I'm weighed down by some shopping bags, full of clothes and various other souvenirs I bought. Choji is also holding some bags full of food that he brought earlier. Whilst Hinata holds only one bag and Shikamaru none, since apparently 'it's such a drag to carry anything', which is just typical of Shikamaru. I feel quite hot but luckily this ice lolly is cooling me down a bit. Whoa I'm actually quite tired, my legs feel like they could drop off at any moment.

Right now I can see Sakura and Karin being stalkers (as usual), haven't they got anything better to do? Actually I suppose not.

"Sasuke-kun what are you up to?" I can just about make out Billboard brows  annoying voice call out, whilst Karin just follows sheepishly.

"I'm exhausted! We have been walking around for hours! Did you have to drag us around nearly every shop here?" Shikamaru complains emphasising on the every.

"Well, Hinata did you have fun shopping?" I ask,

"Y-yes I think it was quite fun actually!" Hinata tells me.

"Guys I think we should head back to the hotel." Choji states. We just nod and make our way through the sandy terrain, carrying the shopping with us.

We arrived at the hotel in the lobby, all the Sensei's were already there laughing and chatting away. There was Kakashi talking casually still looking relaxed as ever, Guy looks like he's making jokes which aren't funny at all, Iruka laughing away and Kurenai standing there laughing too a bit flushed in the cheeks.

Kakashi coughs to tell the other Sensei's of all of our presence and probably to get himself into Sensei mode, "I hope you all have had a nice day today, and I also hope you haven't been getting into any trouble..." he seems to look at Naruto when he says that,

"Hehehehe what?!? Kakashi why you looking at me? hehehe!" Naruto asks 'innocently',

"Did you know Naruto got told off by this old man for stealing in a shop? Then he got chased! It was hilarious! hahaha hehehe!" KIba says in between laughs. 

"Enough!" Kakashi says, "Right go get ready for the fair and come back here in...lets say 5 minutes." Everyone obediently obeys Kakashi's orders, walking to our rooms.
