Chapter Twelve - Am I Dreaming?

People are bustling around. I can hear sweet music ringing in my ears, someone is walking around playing the saxaphone holding out a box for money. The smell of sweet foods and sticky treats fills the air. My skirt is brushing against me from the cool breeze, not too hot and not too cold. My side fringe blowing in the breeze. The atmosphere is great, everyone around is smiling and laughing which is contagious, making me smile too. Theres stalls where you can play games, "YAY! Look Daddy I just won a prize!" I hear a little girl scream happily at one of those hook-a-duck games.

"Wow!" Choji exclaims pointing at fireworks just as they burst and fizzle out into the air, spraying out different aray of colours. They stand out from the black night sky, lighting it up. Every where I walk its hard not to bump into someone and lose my friends. Along a stretch of building is a massive banner which reads 'SAND VILLAGE FAIR!'

I gaze up at the sky, how beautiful it looks tonight..."The night is still young!" A energetic, crazy and familiar voice calls out. I look down to face Lee, "Um...Hi" Why can't he just greet me like a normal person?

"Hey there! Ino, Shikamaru, Choji and Hinata. I'm so sorry if Lee startled you..." Tenten elbowed Lee in his stomache, "He doesn't mean to...he's just, well..."

"Immature." Neji Hyuga finished off the sentence. He's standing there not looking very impressed with Lee, whilst Tenten looks more embarassed.

"Hi there Hinata, fancy seeing you here." Neji says to Hinata in a calm manner, (Neji is Hinata's cousin, he's not very nice to her), Hinata looks kind of uncomfortable. I wonder why Neji hangs around with Lee, because they have completely different personalitys; Lee's hyper and immature whilst Neji's the complete opposite.

Hinata just replies with a respectful bow.

So we all decide to go around together, Inoshikacho, Hinata, Lee, Neji and Tenten. We visit a curry restaurant (for Lee), go shopping (For me), go meditating (for Neji) and go to the food stores (for Choji), Hinata and Shikamaru wasn't too bothered about where we went.

"Don't know 'bout you guys, but I've enjoyed this alot!" Tenten says. I look at Shikamaru and even he looks like he's had a great time.

"This is such a youthful game! Wow look at me I'm on a roll!" I turn to see Guy Sensei playing a kunai throwing game where you aim kunai's at a target. I can see 6 kunai's placed perfectly in the centre of the targets, "This is training whilst having fun! That is hitting two birds with one stone!" The owner of the stall looks weirdly at Guy, I can't blame him!

"Guy Sensei is doing brilliantly!" Lee walks over to join. Whilst walking around I noticed that Lee was impatient and seemed like he just wanted to train, I guess thats his hobby.

Looking around the atmosphere still hasn't died down yet still lively as ever and its around nine at night now there is lanterns around they look so pretty lighting up the night. Orange lanterns are put up around the stalls.
"So what do you guys want to do n-",
"Hey Ino!" Naruto calls running towards me, interupting what Neji was saying. Naruto stops infront of me panting out of breathe, hands on knees. Neji raises an eyebrow at Naruto. I look at him questioningly, what does Naruto want? I mean I thought he would be pranking people right now. Must be something important.

He looks up grinning at me.
"So spit it out!" Tenten demands crossing her arms. Hinata is blushing staring at the ground.
"Ok, Ino, Kiba wants to talk to you outside the hotel." I can feel my cheeks burning up and I'm shocked but I try to hide it because I know everyone is looking at me. Naruto wolf-whistles but Tenten hits him,
"C'mon you'll only make her feel even more nervous, baka."
"You should go now Ino, don't want to keep him waiting." Choji says making me go red,
Tenten shoots him a deadly look, "What, I didn't say anything wrong did I?" He defends himself, oblivious that he made me blush.

I just nod and turn around to meet up with Kiba. Further and further I went the noise of the fair slowly drifted away. I mean I wonder what he has to say to me...thoughts are popping into my head of what I would want him to say, but that would be too good to be true. It would be too perfect.
The sand is blowing everywhere around me. Looking up at the sky its dark and half the moon is glowing.

Up ahead I can see someone standing infront of the hotel, with a mini companion barking at his side. As I approach them I see its Kiba with Akamaru waiting for me.
I stand opposite Kiba and look at him.
"Can we walk Akamaru for a bit?" Kiba asks, I nod and we walk side by side. For a couple of minutes we just walk in silence just the sound of our footsteps walking along the paths.
He sighs, then says "Well what I've been wanting to say to you for a while is well..." He rubs the back of his neck, "I like you Ino". I blush and I pinch myself, is this a dream? I expect to wake up anytime soon but I remain here.

"I-" before I could respond he kisses me. I feel his lips on mine and I feel like the world around me is spinning. We break apart. I stare at him and blush like mad. I smile at him, I think I see him blush slightly as well.
Wow I can't believe i just had my first ever kiss!
