Danny Fenton had had a rough week.

First, his parents had come into school, trying to give a presentation on why Phantom was bad. This was met with only one enthusiastic student - which of course, was Valerie.

Next, both he and Dash had failed their math tests, so not only did he get a bad grade, but Dash got a free punching bag.

On Wednesday Ember came out of the portal along with Youngblood.

On Thursday, the unfortunate halfa had to deal with Vlad's newest failed attempt at convincing Danny to join him.

On Friday Danny thought he was done with the hardest part of the week, and tried to relax -

Only for the Box Ghost to escape the ghost zone no less than eight times.

It was finally the weekend, and he decided to visit Clockwork in his tower...

Who then told him to go to New York City.

Now it was Sunday and Danny Fenton was alone by himself in the city that never sleeps with only 10 dollars and the clothes on his back.

Danny sighed as he had to dodge yet another pedestrian. New York was HUGE. He had never been outside of the midwest, and had never really been in a 'big city' like Chicago or Indianapolis. It was much more populated here than he had expected, and he was surprised to find that, in spite of the higher population, there were either ghosts that could hide really well, or no ghosts. (That he had seen/sensed, at least.)

His stomach growled, Danny realized it had been about three hours since he had eaten last. This would be okay for a normal person, but Danny's ghost half had an extremely fast metabolism, and burned through calories much quicker. He groaned in frustration.

He had to find a store in flippin' New York that would sell him a good amount of food for $10...

Just then, a taxi with a sign in the top for 'Garden of Eden' at Chelsea caught his eye. He completely disregarded the advertisement for the aquarium that followed soon after as he thought over the information on the sign. Apparently the store was having a huge sale...

He just needed to know where Chels- He turned around and saw a sign labeled 'Chelsea'.

Many nearby pedestrians probably wondered why a teenager just hit himself in the face repeatedly.

As I walk down Chelsea towards the store, I wonder how the ghosts were doing back home. I know that I probably shouldn't worry- my parents, Sam, Tucker, and Valerie were still there. They would at least take care of most of the ghosts.

The sun reflected off the glass of the door and I squinted my eyes, reaching out for the door handle-

And I was covered in Green food dye.

"Hey!" I yelped, surprised at the sudden greenness of the hair hanging in front of my eyes.

"I am so sorry, I'll pay for new clothes!" The stranger cried in desperation.

Astounded that he was so upset about it, I gave a mechanical response.

"No need, sorry for not looking."

The stranger had black, windswept hair, a constant upturn of his lips, and playful sea-green eyes. He had a swimmers build-Strong, yet lean, and easily towered over my 5'6" frame. His shirt had a wave design on it, and his jeans were old and faded.
He stared at me for a moment, before I decided that I should introduce myself.

"I'm Danny Fenton."

The stranger smiled. "Percy Jackson, nice to meet you."

We shook hands when a huge blast of an ectoplasm slammed into my side, right as my ghost sense went off, tearing me from Percy's lax grip and ramming me into the wall of a nearby store.

"I SHALL HAVE YOUR PELT AT THE END OF MY BELT, WHELP!!!" Skulker came around the corner, and he seemed to have wanted to look like a walking tank today because he had more weapons than usual strapped to different points of his body.
"I'm going ghost." I whispered solemnly, before shooting out to meet the huge ghostly robot.

"Skulker!" I call. "I thought you would leave me alone after leaving Amity!

"NEVER!!!" responded 'Skulker'. "I SHALL HAVE YOUR PELT IF IT'S THE LAST THING I DO!!!"

Percy spoke up. "You know, that's reeaally gross, right?"

He then thought that he should intervene or something, because next thing he knew, Skulker had a sword stuck in his metal chest.

All three of them were surprised for different reasons, yet responded at the same time.

"You have a SWORD?!" I screamed in surprise.

"You actually GOT ME?!"

"You didn't turn into DUST!?"

Dust? What did he mean?

"What do you mean, turn into dust?"

Percy rubbed his neck sheepishly. "Well... you see... when I uh... fight monsters... they turn into dust if I.. you know... defeat them."

Both me and Skulker just stared.

"I SHALL ALSO HAVE YOUR PELT." Skulker declared, before ripping Percy's sword out of his chest, which proved to be a mistake. The sword was entangled in hundreds of wires, and one of them happened to be very red in color...

The entire suit fell to the floor and the head rolled away, Skulker's real form fell out.

"I WILL BE BACK!!!" he screamed. "IF IT'S THE LAST THING I DO, I SHALL HAVE YOUR PELTS HANGING AT THE END OF MY BED!!!" then, I took out my thermos and sucked him into it.

Percy sighed, then turned to me

"Dude, we need to talk. Come on." And with that, he set off, myself soon following.
