We already performed our skills, and I got a six.

A six! How could I get a six?

Everybody else got higher than me!

I showed them my climbing skills, and I guess that they weren't impressed enough.

The girl from 12,Katniss, got a score of an eleven!

I never even noticed her on training day!

Interview Day:

I get butterflies in my stomach. It feels like they are swarming in dozens.

I fluff up my sparkly blue dress. I feel so little wearing this, the other tributes are wearing extraordinary pieces!

I feel like a kid compared to them. They look like mature teenagers.

They have fabulous makeup, and I have a bow in my hair.

I look over at Clove in her gorgeous orange dress. It looks stunning on her.

She looks back at me and laughs, "Don't you look adorable?"

I wave her off, and she just rolls her eyes. I smirk and look behind me.

I see Katniss in a red dress.

The only thing is she looks like a complete and utter mess.

Her makeup was running, and she looked very nervous.

Her district partner was trying to calm her down, but she shooed him away.

I turn back around and talk a little but will Thresh. He's not nervous at all.

That's the other way for me, I'm scared that I'll mess up or say something ridiculous.

As soon as I know it the District 10 boy went off of the stage, and I heard my name being announced.

I walk onto a colorful stage that's blinding with thousands of lights. I couldn't see for a few seconds.

As my eyes were adjusting, the claps grew louder.

I almost walked right into Caesar!

He helped me to my chair, and I could finally see everything.

Caesar had a magnificent shade of purple for his hair, and he wore a purple and blue checkered suit.

"Rue! You look so beautiful tonight! Doesn't she?" He turned to the crowd, "Amazing dress! You're stylist must be proud!"

I smile, "Well Caesar, it's a really itchy fabric an--" I take a whiff of the air. "Caesar! Are you the one who smells like dandelions?" I laugh.

Caesar smells the air too and then sniffs his suit. "Why yes!" He laughs.

The crowd loves it and goes crazy.

"Rue, was it hard to see that nobody volunteered for you?" Caesar asked, and the crowd immediately died down.

"I guess...I mean it's not like anyone cared. I'm just another tribute that has bad luck." I squeak out.

"Very bad luck." He commented and nodded, taking my hand.

I look out to the crowd, trying to mesmerize them with my innocence.

It works too because I hear many "Awe's".

Finally the buzzer goes off and my time on the stage is gone.

I walk off the stage and smirk at Clove

She acted like she was gagging, but I didn't care.

She's getting on my last nerves.

Tomorrow is the day. The day of the games.

I'll either survive or die trying.
