Never Have I Ever

Lloyd's Pov.

"I have no idea; I haven't seen him today," I told Nick's mom, who says he hasn't been back home in hours. She told me that he stormed out of the house after she and his dad tried to get him to open up. Sounds like something he would do.

"Do you know where he could've gone?" Nick's mom asked.

There's that tree house he hides in, but I promised him I'd never tell anyone about it. He could've gone with Johnny, but I find that unlikely since Nick isn't too fond of him in way. "No."

"Oh, well let us know if you see him around," she said.

"Okay," I replied as she walked out the door of my house.

What the hell has he gotten himself into?

Nick's Pov.

"I think I'm liking the black eye shadow and eyeliner," I told Sheila, "They match my soul."

She laughed in response to my lame joke. My stomach growled, which I guess alarmed Johnny.

"You need to eat," he stated.

"Do I?"

"Yes, Nick. You need to eat," he demanded, "Now."

I don't want to do this right now. If I just agree, he'll leave me alone. There won't be any sort of argument. No break downs. No interrogations. "Fine whatever."

"Seriously, I don't have to shove food in your mouth to make you eat?" he questioned, laughing a little.

"No. Just give me food before I change my mind," I replied.

"Okay, okay," Johnny chuckled.

He went in to the kitchen, once again leaving me with his sister. Please don't ask about it. Please don't ask about it. PLEASE DON'T ASK ABOUT IT. Well I mean, I'm sure she knows; Johnny didn't get driven home by Lloyd's parents until around 10 pm last night, so I'm sure she had some questions. But maybe she doesn't know it was me. Who am I kidding? Look at me I'm underweight as fuck and just got told to eat.

We sat together on the floor, not saying anything. Anxiety built up within me. Don't know why, but it happens. HURRY UP JOHNNY!!

Someone knocked on the door. Who the hell is out in this rain? Well, you know, other than me. Shelia got up from the floor and went to open the door. I moved my head to the left to see who it was.

"WHAT THE HELL NICHOLAS!" he yelled. It's Lloyd. He seems pissed.

"What?"

"YOU'RE SOCIALIZING!" Oh, Maybe not pissed, but very surprised.

"You know, this isn't a nice way to say hello to the person who opened the door for you," Sheila said.

"Oh, Sorry. Hi, Sheila?" She nodded her, stating that he got her name right, "I'm Bradley. I'm friends with your brother and the little shit who ran away" Wow, he called me a little shit. That's a first. Maybe he is pissed.

"JOHNNY! IT'S YOUR FRIEND. WHY DO YOU HAVE MORE FRIENDS THAN ME?"

Johnny came out of the kitchen, handed me a sandwich, then walked to the door.

"Hey, Lloyd" he greeted. "Who got you wet?"

Lloyd smirked, "It's called rain."

"Oh so, her, or his name is Rain. What, are their parents hippies?" he joked.

"Cut it out!" Lloyd smiled. Even if Brad is more of the 'goodie goodie' of our group, he still has a dirty mind and laughs at Johnny's dirty jokes. "Can I come in?"
