Life is Crazy

As I sit in class I ask myself, why does life have to be so crazy. Why do people act the way they do, so mean and rude. Why does life have so many difficulties, when you did nothing wrong. I feel that I should know the answer to this because I'm going through it.

The lunch bell rings and everyone leaves the classroom as fast as they can. The hallways start to get crowded and people are walking way to slow.
That's one thing that really bothers me about high school. People who are slow are either on there phones or talking to there friends. Personally I can talk to my friends and still walk faster then these people.

"Sarah, wait up!"
It was my best friend Emily calling me.
"What's up Emily, how was math." I asked how math was because she has these two boys in her class that I can't stand and one of them is my ex.
"It was good, but guess who got a detention."
"Who?"
"Chris."
"How? What happened?" Chris was the best boyfriend you could have, but he was to much of a player. Also his friends didn't like me because I was not popular enough.
"He told Ms. Ryan to shut up."
"Wow!" I never thought he would say that to a teacher.
"Don't worry about it Sarah he deserves a detention anyway."
"Did his best friend Michael tell him to say something?"
"No. Why would you say that anyway!"
"Because Michael makes Chris do things he doesn't want to do."
"And how would you know that."
"Because he made Chris break up with me!".
Emily just sighs and tells me I need to get over that. It's so hard to though. Chris got very close to me and we would talk about so much personal stuff. I felt this strong connection between us and Michael ruined it.

"C'mon Sarah, let's get some lunch", Emily said.
We waited in the lunch line for a good 10 minutes. Even though we have four different places you can get lunch, you still wait forever. We get our lunch and walk to the cafeteria were me and my friends eat.
I sat next to Emily and my other friend Elizabeth. The three of us play soccer together. I dream that when I'm a senior in high school, I will be the captain of the girls varsity soccer team. I just have a feeling that Julia will get it since she is really good.
As I'm eating my lunch I think about how Chris is going to have a detention. I just wish that, that didn't have to happen. Just as I look up I see Chris walk in with his other friend Mark. Mark was really nice and the only one who liked me. Mark passes me and gives me a little nod and Chris just smiles a little. I wish sometimes that Chris would just talk to me, but when he's with his friends it's a whole different story.

I think about what his friends told me on how I'm not pretty enough. Then I think about how I am pretty, yes I may not have blonde straight hair or wear a size 0, but even though I have brown curly hair and wear a size 4 makes no difference.

After lunch I go to Emily's locker and we hang out there for a few minutes. Next we go to my locker and there is my friend Jake. His locker is right next mine and me and him are really good friends. I think my friend Emily has a crush on him.
