Chapter 14

After we finished with our calculus, Ethan and I talked for a while and I checked the time. 7:34PM. I look outside and see the sun still up. Ethan looks out then window then back to me.
"Can I show you something?" He asks.
"Like what?" I say tilting my head to the side.

He smiles and takes my hand gently. He leads me outside and to the side of his house where wood is creating a square pattern going up the dry, red bricks. He let's go of my hand and climbs up. I do so as well. He sees me and motions for me to follow him. We continue to go up the roof of his house until he stops and seats himself at the top. I sit beside him gripping tightly on the shingles that lay loosely on the roof.
"Are you sure this is safe?" I ask nervously.
"Don't worry. I do this all the time. And if you fall... I'll catch you." He says and I blush. I scoot closer to him and wrap my arms around him. He gently puts his arm around me.
"This view is amazing!" I say as we watch the sun begin to set.
"Yeah, it is." He says. I look up and smile at him.
"I'm sorry about how much I used to hurt you. I can't believe I was stupid enough to do that to you. You're so amazing Andrea. I'm so glad you forgave us." He says and I put my head down with a slight smile.
"I'm still getting over it. But I think I'm at a stage where it only bothers me a little. Which is why I forgave you. I hate holding grudges in all honesty." I say and he grins. The sun goes down and Ethan and I are laying on the roof just staring at the sky. We are quiet, but content. I take a deep breath and smile at Ethan.
"I think it's time that I go home." I say.
"Do you want me to drive you?" He offers.
"I can just call an uber. Thanks though." I say.
"You're sure?" He asks. I nod. We crawl off the roof and go back inside. I grab my bag and call an uber. When I get home I call Kim and tell her everything.
"Dude! What about Grayson?! Didn't you like him?" She asks.
"I do like Grayson Kim, but I think I like Ethan too now! God I'm a slut! I'm such a slut aren't I? What do I do Kim?!" I yell.
"Okay Andy just... breathe. You're not a slut. You're just.. confused. Okay who's on your mind right now? Which twin are you thinking of when I say Dolan?" She asks.
"I think of both of them! I think of how amazing I felt with Ethan! But then I think of how trusting and cared for I felt when I was with Grayson! Then I feel bad for kissing them both. And now I just feel really shitty." I say and purposely face plant into my bed.
"I'm such an idiot! What do I do?!" I mumble into my pillow.
"Just keep some space from them."she says.
"Grayson's tutoring me on Monday." I swiftly reply.
"Keep your hands to yourself. That's all you have to do. Focus on your work. Not him." She says.
"That's easier said then done." I say with my face still pressed into my pillow.
"You'll be okay." She says.
