After watching like 15 episodes of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Mer and I turned off Netflix and went downstairs.
"Now this is the story all about how my life got flip turned upside down!" We stop and turn to point at each other "Now let me take a second just stay right there so I can tell bout how I became the prince of Bel Air" We sang as we went down the stairs laughing.
"Kim is that you?!" My mom yells completely ruining my mood. Meredith frowns at me and gives me a hug.
"No, ummm I'm Meredith Mickelson!" Meredith says poking her head out to wave at my mom. She pulls me the rest of the way down the stairs and we greet my mom.
"Mom, this is my friend Meredith! Meredith this is my mom." I say.
"Why the sad face, princess?" My mom asks.
"It's just been a long day..." I say. Meredith looks at me with a sympathetic smile as she rubs my back.
"Okay, well if you girls need anything, I'm going to the store. Just give me a call!" My mom cheerfully says as she grabs the keys and and leaves. Meredith waves as my mom steps out the door.
"Well I'm not gonna let you be all depressed. Come on, let's go do something fun!" She says.
"Like what?" I ask, still unhappy.
"Let's go to my place! We can go in the hot tub, or go the theatre room, there's plenty of options at my place. Are you down for it?" She asks.
"Well... I have to ask my mom. Just out of respect for her." I say and she nods agreeingly. I message my mom, asking if I could go over to Meredith's.
"Okay... she says yeah but I gotta be home for supper." I say.
"Okay! Let's go! I'll call an über, I love über sooo much like it's so convenient!" She says. (Not promoting, but aye über should fr hmu 😂 😂)
"Okay" I say and giggle.
We get to Meredith's place and it is ACTUALLY a castle! This looks like a place a Disney princess would live in!
