School was finally over and I was about to walk home when I heard someone shouting my name. I turn to see Kim running after me and shouting at me. I roll my eyes and keep walking. She soon catches up to me and is out of breath.
"Andrea.. (panting) talk to me for a second okay?" She says.
"Talk to you about what? About how you were making out with my crush right outside my classroom?!" I yell.
"Andrea... I-I never meant to hurt you I just-" she begun.
"You just what?! You say you didn't want to hurt me?! How is that NOT supposed to hurt me Kim?! HOW?!" I shout.
"I know it hurt you but-" I didn't want to hear anymore from her.
"But nothing Kim. I'm done. It was fun while it lasted." I say. I stare into her eyes as they begin to water. I can't stay mad at her forever but today I'm just not down to listen to her. Instead of going home I decide to go to the gym. It's been a while. I get to the gym and change into the clothes I usually wear for gym class at school. I'm gonna wash them when I get home. I go upstairs to the personal fitness section and knock on Ray's room door. Instead, Leah opens the door.
"Oh hey, Andrea! Uh.. Ray's not in today but I'm filling for him if that's alright with you?" Leah asks.
"That's perfect! I just need to get my mind off some things and a good workout seemed like the perfect way." I say.
"Well you came to the right place. Just give me a sec to check the routine your used to with Ray and I'll be right back, okay?" She says.
"Marvellous" I say and giggle. We do the workout I usually do with Ray. Gosh I haven't been here so long I can barely do this. I need to start coming back on a regular basis again.
We do our last few reps of everything then get some water.
"Not bad Andy, not bad at all." She says and smiles at me.
"Thanks Leah, you're not so bad yourself." I say and laugh. I go to the changerooms and rinse off before changing back into my normal clothes. I put my hair in a high ponytail and begin my trip home. I check my phone and notice plenty of texts and missed calls from Grayson and Kim. I roll my eyes then clear the notifications, sliding my phone back into my pocket.
What. A. Day.
