Chapter 3 - Phone Call

「You」

Ring. Ring. Ring.

My head was spinning and it felt like hell.

I went and checked the time on my 'very old fashioned' watch that my mom bought me when I was little. Surprisingly it still fits on my noodle arm.

5:30

Oh My what could be so important that I woke up at this hour.

I reached to my phone with the intention to silence the noise it was making.

Then I saw the caller id

YG entertainiment

I was so shocked to receive this call.

A few weeks ago I went to Korea to audition for YG entertainment because my cousin told me that it was worth the shot and she didn't want to audition alone but I went back to the Philippines not letting my hopes up.

I cleared my throat and answered the call.

"Y-Yeoboseyo (Hello)" I tried my best not to stutter but I just couldn't hold my emotions back.

"Is this (Y/N)?"

"Ne (Yes)"

"Okay well I'm calling from YG entertainment to say that our producer found your application worthy for a spot in our company. We would like schedule when you could come over and discuss the contract."

My heart was beating fast. Was I dreaming? Am I still asleep?

"Yeoboseyo? (Hello?)"

I then realized that I left the call hanging.

"Oh uhm... I'm in the Philippines right now and I'm still in high school and I only have free time during summer."

I was hoping that they would still accept me even with my schedule.

"Okay... I know that your summer falls on June and July so we'll be expecting you here by the first or second week to discuss your training schedule."

I pressed my head against my pillow and screamed at the top of my lungs.

"Yes. Thank you so much."

Then they dropped the call.

My mind was still processing the event that has just happened.

I needed someone to talk to. Someone to be with at these types of moments.

Then my mind then thought of someone and it sent mr rushing out the door.

I rang the doorbell probably 10 times before someone came to the door and opened it for me.

"Good Morning Auntie." I greeted my aunt with a big smile glued on to my face.

"Good Morning (Y/N) What brings you here?"
"I'd like to speak to Yasmin. Is she inside?"
"Yes dear she's in her room. Go ahead she's probably expecting you."

I went inside and barged into my cousins room.

"Oh (Y/N) You'd never guess what happened." Then I looked at her and gave her the i-think-i-do-know look.

"Why don't we say it at the same time." Then she nodded as we breathed in heavily to yell to our hearts content.

"IGOTCHOSENBYYGASATRAINEE" We both said it as fast as we could and even at the same time.
