I'm sorry for always skipping time but I just really want to avoid boring parts.

"Okay so today you have been invited to your first big award ceremony which is the .... Melon Awards. So prepare because we will depart 7:30. Time check it's 5:15. I'll be back a few minutes before the departure. Thank you." Then our manager left our room just after she briefed us our schedule.

"Wow!!! Our first music award." This time I was the first one to speak.

Since our debut 4 months ago I really came out of my shell. I was now more outgoing and I was not afraid to stand infront a large crowd which was a great achievement for me.

"I know right. I feel so happy if how far we've come." Jessie was chewing on a piece of gum which made her hard to understand.

"Well.... I'm so excited about meeting our sunbaenims (seniors)" Even as a member of a girl group itself, ChaeYoung still looked up to other girl groups for inspiration and strength.

"I'm even more excited about the boys. " Wishly tried to wink but failed and her statement made us laugh.

One by one the members started teasing each other with the members of some famous boy groups.

I sat there while I listened and paid attention silently. I was contemplating on how they went into conclusions upon one another and they all seemed so indulged in the moment that they didn't notice me slip out of the room and into the balcony of our so called "home".

I decided that I needed some fresh air so I sat on the front porch.

Without even thinking, I took out my phone to see a picture of Shawn flash infront on my eyes.

I missed him so much.

His eyes were chestnut in color. His face was well defined and he was  masculine enough for you to say that he was physically fit but not enough to scare anyone away. He was a lot taller than me and he made my heart flutter at the sight of him.

I still remember how we were once strangers ourselves.

We would walk past each other and steal glances and gave awkward smiles.

Aparently Yasmin noticed this tiny fling between us and decided to put matters into her own hands.

She started inviting Shawn to sit with us during lunch and he obeyed. She even told our teachers to have me and him sit at the same tables and we even got paired up often––coincidence––that's what she'd call it but I knew better than to believe in that word.

Me and Shawn talked as often as we could. He knew my secrets and I knew his. We became the closest of friends and everyone started shipping us but it didn't seem to bother either one of us.

Then it was fall when one of us decided to take this friendship to the next level.

"Hey (Y/N) I'll head on to my next class. Ice cream date later? I mean if you aren't busy flirting with Shawn." Yasmin winked at me to assure me that she was just trying to make me laugh and it did send me giggling

I carried a few notebooks on hand to put inside my locker which I was standing infront of.

I punched in my code and it smoothly went open when I noticed a piece of paper slowly fall down from my locker to the waxed floor I was stepping on.
