Chapter 4: Dr. Robert

3 June 1964

T-minus 1 month till baby Lennon arrives. Oh my gosh, I'm so excited! Honestly, the whole Beatles family is excited to meet our newest family member. I can just imagine what she'll look like. She'll have John's light brown eyes, Brianna's dark brown hair and facial features, with just a bit of John's in there. And of course, she'll have the childish and immature personality like both of her parents. Bri's always had that personality, even since I met her.

Brianna and I have known each other for about 20 years. You see, our parents have been friends for what seems like forever. Her dad, Richard, was in my dad's old band; Jim Mac's Jazz Band. From there my mum met her mum, Debbie, and since then they've been very close. They introduced Bri and I to each other in 1945 and we've been best friends, well I should say sisters since then.

Anyway, the lads are at a photo-shoot for most of the day, so the two of us decided to have a girls day at her and John's house. We had just gotten home from doing last minute shopping for the baby. I was carrying all the bags into the nursery when I heard a yell from Brianna. "Pam, get in here quick! I think my water just broke!"

I drop the three bags I had in my hand and frantically run into the kitchen. To my arrival I saw a little puddle of water on the ground and Brianna, laughing, standing there with a half empty water bottle in her hand.

"You should have seen the look on your face just now! Pam, that was priceless!"

Slightly irritated from the joke she played on me I go over to the counter, grab some paper towels and clean up the puddle of water. "Brianna Lee Lennon! That was horrible! I thought you were serious!"

"Ooo you used my full name on me. Well Julianna, I'm hardly ever serious, you should know that."

I rolled my eyes, throwing away the last of the paper towels. "Oh yes, I should have known better. Anyway, I'm going to go back and put those bags in Rydel's room."

With that I walked out of the kitchen, went over to the bags I had dropped and walked into the nursery. I set the bags down in the corner and looked around, the room was amazing. It was bright and colorful, based off of Alice in Wonderland. I knew John was partially obsessed with Alice in Wonderland, but I never expected him to make it the theme of Rydel's room.

I just stood there, looking at it all. I can just imagine little Rydel laying in her crib with John and Brianna standing there watching her. Thinking about how happy John and Brianna will be once the baby arrives makes me think about mine and Ritchie's future. As horrible as it sounds, I'm jealous of Bri. Of course, I'll never tell anyone that though. Being married to a husband who loves her and a baby on the way, her life just seems perfect. I just wonder what'll happen between Ritchie and I. We've been together for almost three years now. I know we're taking things slow, but I just wonder if he'll propose any time soon. John always jokes around with the fact that we're not married yet and I'm kind of hoping Ritchie'll get the idea to ask me sometime. I mean, he and I have talked about having kids before, but nothing's happened from there.

Snapping out of my thoughts I walk out of Rydel's nursery and go into the living room with Brianna.

"What took you so long? You've been in there for almost 15 minutes."

Sitting down on the couch I shrugged, "I was just doing some thinking."

"Thinking about what it'd be like if you and Rings were married and having kids, weren't ya?"

I nodded and she smiled, "It'll happen one day Pam, just give it some time."

"But when is that Bri? He and I have been dating for almost three years now and we're not even engaged or anything. You and John dated for less than we did before he asked you to marry him."
