Far From Over

OLIVER'S POINT OF VIEW

I sighed as Ella put up the silencing wards and waited for Anna and Cory. The sun sank beneath the trees. We might not have OWLS but the teachers seemed to work us harder than ever, which would be exhausting enough, even if we didn't have to dodge hexes in the hallways.

Everyone at Hogwarts was unhappy with our decision to be friends, and showed it by either hexing us or throwing dirty looks at us in the hallways. Even the teachers turned a blind eye to this situation. The truth is, we didn't care about that. We traveled in a group whenever we could and spent most of our free time in the clearing.

Just last week I blocked a confundus charm from hitting Ella. We have been closer than ever since then. The one thing everyone doesn't understand is that the more they fight us, the more they bring us together.

"Any word on Eric?" Anna asked, as she walked up to the clearing.

"Nope." I answered.

"Its unlike him to just give up, he's planning something. something big." Cory interjected.

"We'll be ready" Anna said, finding her spot in the tree.

"Where's Ella?" Cory question was answered seconds later as a breeze filled the air and a gasp to the left of the clearing was heard. Cory rushed towards her as we followed cautiously behind.

I fell to the grass holding in laughter when I saw her pass by straight faced, covered from head to toe in small flower petals. Cory and Anna weren't far behind me.

CORY'S POINT OF VIEW

When we all settled down, Oliver and Anna were having a conversation about the Twix.

"Eww! you really eat something called the Twix?"

"Its not the Twix, its just Twix, and its really good. And for your information, muggles are not the ones who invented Cockroach Clusters..."

I smiled and tuned out their conversation. My attention turned to Ella, who was struggling to get all the flower petals out of her hair. I walked over to help her. She jumped and looked at me, once I touched her head. I went back to pulling petals out of her hair. She continued to pull the petals off of her uniform.

While taking care of the petals, I noticed one thing. Ella's hair is ridiculously soft. Really, it is! It was like a bunny and puppy mixed together and made into a blanket.

Anna's voice brought me back to reality. "So Cory, when are you going to stop petting Ella?"

"I'm not Petting her!" I said blushing, and pulled the last few petals out of her hair. I went back to my area. Ella was blushing too.

"So back to more important things. Are you guys going to Hogsmead this weekend? " Oliver asked.

Everyone was. We made plans to meet each other after breakfast.

GENERAL POINT OF VIEW

There in the small clearing, the four students talked and laughed until the stars came out.

The Hufflepuff was small, with mid shoulder length vibrant hair, and almond shaped eyes. She had a beautiful smile. The Gryffindor had dirty blond hair, with big round eyes, and a tall and confident look. The Ravenclaw was short, with messy black hair and deep blue eyes. The Slytherin was tall, with kind dark brown eyes, light brown hair. He looked more like a 4th year than 3rd year.

The four students had looked past the stereotypes and found the one thing they have always needed. Friendship. However, their problems where far from over.

"Its not like Eric to give up."
