Friends?

ELLA'S POINT OF VEIW

I slowly gained consciousness. Last night must have been a dream. I felt sadness wash over me. It was such a good dream I had dreamt that someone cared. I didn't feel like going to classes today. 

I nuzzled against my pillow wanting to continue my wonderful dream, I stopped dead. Last time I checked my pillow wasn't shaped like a human, and didnt breath!

I jumped up opening my eyes. My legs gave out. It wasn't a dream. Blinking at the sudden brightness I saw Ellianna asleep with her head on Olivers shoulder and Cory sitting half awake leaned against the wall.

My stomach dropped.  I had fallen sleep on Cory! And the fact that shocked me was, I didn't actually mind. I guess last night we had formed kind of friendship. All of us had.

I looked back down and saw Cory looking at me, he was awake. I blushed deep red. So did he. We both knew that I fell asleep on him just like Oliver and Ellianna.

CORY'S POINT OF VEIW

The first thing I noticed as I woke up was how cold my side was. I looked up to see Ella, with her grey eyes wide, and her cheeks a bright red. I suddenly realized that she had fallen asleep on me. I blushed an even deeper shade of red.

Thats when I realized that we had classes. 

"Ella, we should wake the others up classes start in-" I stopped casting a tempus charm " - 17 minutes!"

Ella jumped, snapping out of her daze, Then ran over towards the other two. 

"Hey sleepy heads wake up" She said gently. They didn't even stir. She tried again louder, still nothing.

She leaned closer to them and grinned. "Ellianna, Snape's not gonna be happy if your late for another one of his classes." She said, in a menacing voice.

That did the trick. Ellianna was up in a flash, and then stumbled backwards onto Oliver, waking Oliver up in the process. Oliver stared at us bewildered. I couldn't stop myself, I burst out laughing and pretty soon every one was pink in the face from laughing. 

Ellianna stood up, blushing once she realized she had landed on top of Oliver. "What where you saying about Snape?" 

"Class starts in-" I cast another tempus charm " - 4 minutes. " I said calmly.

 There was a few moments of silence, then a mad dash for the door. 

"Library, friday night at six" Ella shouted, as she and Ellianna ran towards the dungeons.

I stood there for a momment letting last night soak in. last night we were stranger now we were- we were friends. At least I think so

OLIVER'S POINT OF VEIW

To say being woken up by someone falling into your lap was an understatement. And so was the thought of being late to transfiguration class. 

McGonagall was angry, she took 20 points from Ravenclaw. I should have been angry about that, but I was to busy thinking about Ellianna, Ella and Cory.

Last night was, well it was extremely weird. I felt good though, It felt good to get a secret out. In one night we went from strangers to friends, at least I think so.

Mcgonagall droned on about the importance of being able to transfigure living items. I tuned her out, still thinking about what was going to happen on Friday.

ELLIANNA'S POINT OF VEIW

We arrived at the dungeon door out of breath, no matter how fast we ran we would still be late. All we could do now was go in and hope to come out alive. Ella gave me an understanding look knowing I would get the worst of the punnishment because I was a  'Gryffindor'. Sighing I walked through the door. 

Snape looked up from the front of the classroom looking particularly angry, at having been stopped mid sentence.

"Late again Ms. Stonier. It seems that detentions are not enough these days, I think I might have to take of more points this time. Im sure your housemates will be pleased with you." Snape smirked. 

I stayed quiet, taking a small step to the left so that I could stand in front of Ella. Only one of us needed to be punnished. Snape hadnt even noticed Ella, and I was hoping it would stay that way.

Snape glared at me "60 points from Gryffindor. That should be enough this time, but next time it will be more. Now get to your seat before I make it 80!" 

I could feel every Gryffindor glaring at me as I took a step towards my seat praying that Ella would quietly make her way to her own. However, Ella had other plans.

"Proffesor Snape" she said stepping from behind me. I stepped on her toe but she kept on talking. "It was my fault"

Snapes head snapped back to us. "And pray tell Ms.Harper why It woud be your fault" he growled obviously irritated at Ella for standing up for me.

My first thought was we were doomed. Doomed? More like dead. Ella is never going to come up with a good enough excuse, She was only gonna humiliate herself.

"I was running down the halls to get to class, and I ran into Ellianna. She spilled her bookbag everywhere. It took us a few minutes to gather everything." Snape raised his eyebrow as if to say that it was a 'likely story' and take 40 points off of her. " She still has the rip in her bag " She said pointing to the large rip convinienley placed on the side of my bag. 

I was suprised, this story was rock solid.

"Very well Ms. Harper this may be your fault but Ms. Stonier should know better that to be late. 40 points from Gryffindor and 20 points from Hufflepuff. Now if you two would get back to your seats, we have already had enough of you shenanigans!" he growled.

As we sat in class, I finally had time to think last night through. I have had friends before, but this was diffrent. In just one night, it felt like we had known each other for years.  Were we friends now?
