OLIVER'S POINT OF VEIW

"What are you doing?" I asked as Ellianna crawled across the floor.

"Im a spy, this is what spys do. what did you think I was doing?"

"I dont know. Digging?" I replied

She snorted as she got up. I felt myself smile, it felt good to make someone laugh, not a lot of the Ravenclaws had a sense of humor.

"So whats your plan?" I asked.

"Walk into the room and demand they say what they are doing. "

" You can't just walk into the room and demand them to say what they are doing! If you think the hufflepuff would just tell you then why not ask?"

"Because this way is fun."

I groaned. This was going to be a long night.

"Fine if you dont have a plan then I will make one." I huffed. "I will cast a dillusionment spell and a charm that will let us go through the door so you can go into the room unnoticed. Then we can see what they are doing then catch them in the act and they wont be able to deny anything."

She stood there just staring at me for a moment before she replied. "That sounds good. Its a very slytherin plan though. "

Soon we were at the door, I cast the charms on Ellianna, then on myself and went in.

We walked through the closed door and into an unused classroom. It was empty, except for a table, chairs, and two nervous 13 year olds. We stood in the corner and watched the scene play out.

CORY'S POINT OF VEIW

Every second the tension in the room grew. It was almost unbearable. I wasnt a Gryffindor, No one would call me brave. However I was not a wimp either. It was just a simple question, so plucking up the courage I did have, I asked.

"Ella, what did you mean last week when you said 'well lets just say I had the same problem in first year?'" I asked forcing out the words.

Ella walked over to the far side of the room were a small window was and stood looking at the forbidden forest. The snow this year had come and gone. Flowers were starting to bloom, spring was here.

"I dont want to talk about it, the past is past and there is no reason to waste time on it." came a slightly muffled reply.

"What If I told you what my problem was?" I asked.

I saw Ella lean against the window and take a deep breath.

ELLA'S POINT OF VEIW

"My parents are both wizards but they chose to live in the muggle world because they knew Voldemort was not truly dead. We were never close, all throughout my childhood they were distant. I didnt know what I did wrong. When I got to hogwarts, I thought it was a chance to finally prove I was worth their love. I would be the perfect slytherin just like they were. But my hopes were shattered when I was sorted into hufflepuff. I-I ju-just" I explained trying to hold back the tears that wanted to come

I felt a warm hand on my shoulder.

"You just wanted them to be proud of you." A solemn voice came from behind me.

Slowly I turned around and turned to see Cory looking at me, I looked away. I felt his warm hand brush a tear that had rolled down my face and looked up, he blushed bright red.

"My parents were Slytherins. They want to prove themselves worthy to be great dark wizards. My older brother is the perfect dark wizard just like mom and dad want him to be. Perfect grades, Head boy, and super smart. All the things I was not. I just want them to be proud of me and love me like they loved Eric." he said.

I looked up then I heard something from the corner of the room that sounded like crying.

ELLIANNA'S POINT OF VEIW

As I watched the scene unfold my heart broke. I thought I knew Ella. I thought she was just an ordinary Hufflepuff. And I never thought of a Slytherin actually having feeling and comforting a Hufflepuff.

Once the Slytherin finished speaking I couldnt hold it back anymore. Here where two people who just wanted their parents to be proud of them, just like me. My tears broke the silence. I

I heard a stunned voice " Ellianna?"

I looked up to see Ella and the Slytherin staring at me. I forgot all about the fact that I was supposed to be invisible.

"Im sorry Ella I just wanted to know what you were doing. B-but then I heard you guys talking and I-I never knew anyone felt the same way" I said tears falling down my face.

"What do you mean?" The Slytherin asked.

"They worked full time, they never had any time for their daughter. We used to be so close, Untill they got their j-job. I th-thought it was something I had done. I just wanted them to be proud of m-me." I felt Ella come and put a comforting hand on me.

When I finally looked up, I saw the Slytherin staring at the wall next to me, I gasped.

Oliver was sitting against the wall staring blankly at the wall across the room. His Deep blue eyes sparkled with hushed tears.

OLIVER'S POINT OF VEIW

I didnt know what to do. I stood at the wall silently pushing back my tears as I listened to their stories. I had slowly walked back into the wall and slid down into a sitting position. Thats when my magic had stopped. I knew they would see me at some point so I just sat there.

I thought I was alone. I thought I was the only one who felt like this.

When the Slytherin spotted me I just sat. I was still shocked.

Ellianna walked over to me and kneeled by my side. I looked at her, I wished I hadnt.

Something in me broke. The mask I had been using to cover up these feelings, shattered.

"Oliver?" Her voice echoed in my head.

"I thought I was the only one who felt this way." I mumbled.

Ella and the Slytherin, I think his name was Cory, came and sat down across from me and Ellianna. I took a deep breath and explained how my dad had died and how my mom was never around. I told them how I felt lonely and I told them how I just wanted my parents to be proud of me. I told them that I just wanted someone to like me for who I was.

For years I had held my thoughts in. For years, I had felt alone. For years, I had had no one. Now I finally felt like I had people that cared about me. No one ever cared enough to ask me about my life. But these people had.

GENERAL POINT OF VEIW

The four students stayed like that for a long time. Together. Ella had fallen asleep leaning on Cory and Ellianna fell asleep leaning on Oliver. The two boys still sat awake, unwilling to move the two girls after the long night. The two boys looked at each other a silent agreement had been made. Something had changed and things would never be the same. They soon fell asleep just like that.
