CORY'S POINT OF VIEW

"I'm melting!" Ellianna groaned dramatically as she slunk to the floor of the clearing.

"Ellianna, its not that bad." I said, even though my shoes felt like i had just stepped in a puddle of water.

"Yeah! Not so bad, says the one who can take off his shirt." She groaned, shuffling into the shade of the tree.

It was sweltering. The sun beat down on everyone as if it wanted to kill us. The suffocating heat made it hard to think straight. It didn't help that I was stuck here with Ellianna while we waited for Oliver and Ella. We were going swimming.

"Cory, I'm dying.. OH THE AGONY!" She cried dramatically flinging her hand over her forehead. "When i'm gone, tell Ella she gets my dresses, and tell my uncle to take good care of my pet bunny...." She said before slumping into a pile of cool grass, her sparkly swimsuit shining in the sunlight that trickled through the leaves.

"Finally, some peace and quiet." I said, shifting into a more comfortable position.

"Why did Yankee Doodle name the feather in his hat Macaroni?" Ellianna asked, voice muffled.

"Idiot." I said, spraying Ellianna with water from my wand. "You are an idiot thats why." I joked not having any clue on who or what Yankee Doodle was.

"I see you two are having fun." Came Oliver's voice, obviously talking about the soaking wet Ellianna laying on the floor, cackling madly.

I looked up to see Oliver walk into the clearing, quickly followed by Ella.

Ella's long red hair was pulled into a braid that hung over her freckled shoulder. She wore a green one piece swimsuit that-

"So are we ready to go?" Said Ellianna, making me jump. Her eyes flicked from Ella to me, then she smiled evilly.

"Hey nice Swim trunks." Ellianna commented to Oliver, raising her eyebrow at the cartoon eagles.

"Shut up. We should be going anyways." Said Oliver blushing. Ella followed him out of the clearing giggling.

I got up to follow them, but Ellianna stopped me.

"Oh no you dont buddy." she smiled.

"What?"

She smiled evilly.

"What?!" I asked, a little freaked out by her behavior.

"Oh, dear Cory. You are so clueless."

"Why?" I asked.

She burst into giggles.

"You were totally checking Ella out" She said, giggling.

"What?! No I wasn't. I-we are just friends. Yeah, just friends." I stuttered.

"Yeah..." She said ruffling my hair. "I'm going to let you think about that one." She said, and them bolted from the clearing.

OLIVER'S POINT OF VIEW

"Last one in the water is a rotten egg!!" Ella cried, and then proceeded to run towards the lake.

"Your on!" Ellianna yelled, and then ran after Ella to the lake.

I stood there for a moment and watched Ellianna jump and cannonball into the lake, spraying a bunch of people with water in the process.

"Are we just going to let them beat us like that." Came Cory's voice from behind me.

"Definitely not." I said dashing towards the lake.

There were splashes everywhere. It was like some kind of water war was going on. This was the most fun I have had in a long time.

I let out a strangled war cry and dove under the water grabbing Ellianna's feet and flipping her upside down.

She burst into mad giggles and swam up the the surface of the water, flinging her hair in Cory's face.

"Oh, its on." Cory yelled before plunging into the water and flipping Ellianna upside down again.

Ellianna swam back to the surface of the water pushing her hair out of her face.

"Chicken fight!!" She yelled.

This being a wizarding and muggle game I motioned for Elianna to get on my shoulders, trying not to blush as her long hair tickled my forehead. Ellianna let out a war cry as other pairs in the lake joined in.

ELLA'S POINT OF VIEW

I mentally slapped myself for blushing like crazy as I sat atop Cory's shoulders. It didn't help much when Ellianna kept throwing me strange looks.

Ellianna reached out towards me to knock me into the water. I darted left and shoved her off of Oliver.

There where whoops and yells from onlookers.

"This is war!" Yelled Ellianna, as she climbed back on to Oliver's shoulder.

There was a mess of arms and yells as we battled.

Soon the sun was setting, and the other students had gone back inside the castle. It was just the four of us.

We called a timeout. I felt Cory grab my waist and set me down in the shallow water. I blushed and quickly dismissed a thought.

OLIVER'S POINT OF VIEW

I have no idea how I got into this mess, I thought as I sat in the clearing now dry with the help of a drying spell, and a sparkly pink bow in my hair. Ellianna was brushing my hair with her fingers and put on another bow in.

I saw Ella and Cory sitting across from us collapsed in silent giggles. I stuck my tongue out them, officially feeling like a five year old girl. I had the pigtails and everything.

Ellianna was sitting in front of me eyes narrowed in concentration, while the moonlight illuminated her long hair.

"There. Now you look beautiful" she said, as she gave my hair one more fluff and stepped back, her beautiful eyes gleaming.

I had to bite my tongue to stop myself from saying what I was about to say. I felt the words of my unsaid sentence echo in my mind. "Not as beautiful as you."

GENERAL POINT OF VIEW

As the four students laughed at the Gryffindors hair-styling skills, the Ravenclaw and the Slytherin noticed something. They both liked one of the girls in a more-than-friends kind of way. On the other hand, the two girls had realized that they both liked one of the boys in a more-than-friends kind of way. None of the students wanted to admit it, None of them want to break their friendship. Who will admit it first? Will it be the brave Gryffindor or the loyal Hufflepuff? Maybe it will be the wise Ravenclaw or the cunning Slytherin? There is just one thing left to say.

Let the games begin.
