KAI'S POV

I entered my suite. I really wish I could sleep on the floor...

Being able to be the one to handle the expansion for Marriott is a big achievement and a honor for me...but fuck! It's really stressful and tiring!

I opened my laptop to checked on a few documents. I really wanted to sleep but I couldn't, I still need to finish this. It's already 12 am when I finished my work. I took a warm shower and climb to bed. I really want to sleep right now...

I groaned as I heard my stupid alarm snooze. Uughh! I'm still sleepy but I need to go to work. Great! 'The perks of being an adult.'

I was greeted by the workers...my team.

"What's up with that face?" Krystal, my secretary handed me my Machiatto. "Lack of sleep." And take a sip. This is so good!

After she told me what we'll be doing today, we immediately started working. After a few mintues, I reached for my pockets to fish out my phone but it wasn't there. Maybe I left it in my suite.

"Hey Tal..." She turned around. "I left my phone at my room, I'm leaving you incharge for awhile..." She just nodded. As I headed back at the working site after getting my phone in my suite, I spotted him. My heart raise, cold sweat are dripping on the side of my face...

Is that really him? But I knew him well and he's standing a few meters from me. Every part of his body...all of it- I know it's him. He's heading towards the elevator and I waste no time. "Dyo!" I shouted and ran up to catch him. He turned around and stiffened. His eyes are wide but then turns his poker face on.

"Dyo? What are you doing here?" His life is in California right? Why is he here?

"What are YOU doing here?" His words are full of venom- He can't even look at me. I was silent for seconds and he turned his back on me. I quickly grab his shoulder and face him.

"Dyo..." I probably sounded sad and about to cry. But that's the truth... I'm hurt.
