Y'all, I feel so blessed right now.
My neighborhood made it through the night with just minor damages, like fallen limbs, a few shingles blown off a couple roofs, and the power is still out in most of the town.
So we really got lucky this time, all things considered.
Unfortunately, however, the town about a mile down the road didn't fare as well.
Several homes were torn apart, a store completely leveled, and a massive chunk of forest stripped.
And that was just one road.
They had some of the town completely closed off.
It's even worse in the next town over, Canton, TX. They were hit 5 separate times.
And to make matters even worse, here was a fair going on this weekend there.
It got so bad that they had to use the local school as a triage center.
Please, pray for East Texas, she needs all the support she can get.
