The lonely shadow of mine flickered at the wooden flooring. My nails were pinching my fingers from anxiety.

I was in a daze. My figure remained almost still, just staring at anything to hold a distraction. The body itself, sat at the bed, ignoring the chair that would have been more appropriate.

My breathing was heavy with my mind racing.

Somehow, the idea of me spending time with Benjamin, and not remembering it, seemed terrifying to the point I had forgotten he was planning to murder me at that time.

Let's get this over with...

"Well... Sir. ..." I hesitated, unsure of how I should put my questions without giving out to much of what I was feeling at the moment..

Come on...

"Something had happened yesterday," I broke the eye contact, and focused on the fabrics or the dress I was wearing, "but you see, I can't exactly remember what did happen - and that had left me quite concerned..." upon my slow talk, I had paused and carefully looked back upon the clueless sailor...

"Could you help me with that?" I asked - trying to sound as clear as possible.

He looked lost for a moment, before his eyes brightened...
