*Zayn's POV*

Do I feel a pair of.....eyes on me? I turned and saw a girl with dirty blonde hair and purple nerd glasses on looking at me. Once she noticed she got caught, she quickly looked down and turned red. I chuckled and faced the board once more. I had to admit, she was cute. Her green eyes sparkled behind her glasses and her hair fell perfectly on her shoulders with no effort. She had an innocent look about her. I wouldn't mind taking her out. To show I was interested, I turned and gave her a flirty smile, followed by a wink. She blushed and gave me a shy smile. The bell rang and I walked over to her after packing up my bag. "Hey I saw you looking at me in class earlier. What's your name beautiful?' I winked again. "I-I'm Haley" she stuttered, pushing up her glasses. "As you probably heard I'm Zayn" I laughed. She nodded. "May I walk you to class?' I offered. She nodded again and began walking. "Not much of a talker eh?" I joked. "No I'm sorry. Just have a fear of speaking up" she giggled. "That's alright. If you're lucky, what we do doesn't require much talking" I smirked. She gasped and looked shocked. "I'm kidding love. I couldn't take advantage of such an innocent beautiful girl" I flirted. "Thank you' she blushed. "Of course. So I'm sorry if I made the wrong impression. How about I make it up to you by taking you out on a date tonight?" I asked her out. "Um yeah sure. I'd love to. Here I'll give you my number and we can work something out" she replied, writing her number down on a piece of paper. She ripped it out and handed it to me. "Thanks. I'll catch you later" I answered as she disappeared into her next class. I walked to my class with a stupid smile plastered on my face that just wouldn't leave. She made me feel so happy and warm inside; I was acting like such a girl. Even so, I couldn't get rid of the butterflies that were fluttering around in my stomach. I think it was safe to say.....I like her. 

*Haley's POV*

As soon as Zayn left, I felt cold and alone, like I always needed him here with me. These feelings that I have for him, whatever they are, are really weird and foreign. They don't make sense to me at all. All I know is that they aren't going away any time soon and that they're special. During class, I couldn't focus very much. All I could think about was Zayn. Speaking of him, I wonder where he will take me out tonight. Will it be romantic? Will my feelings change for him? Will he be completely different from how I picture: kind, loving, sweet and romantic? Truth is, I have no idea but I hope I'm not hurt in the end. When the bell rang, meaning my school day was over, I raced out of class and to my car. On my way out of the hell of a building, I ran into someone, sending them to the ground with a loud thump. "Oh my god, I am so sorry!" I cired, helping whoever it was up. "It's quite alright love" they replied, a familiar voice ringing throughout my ears. When I looked up, my suspicions confirmed. "Zayn?" I asked. "Yeah. But, don't worry, you didn't hurt me" he chuckled, picking up papers that I had knocked out of his bag. "Oh good" I sighed in relief, getting lost in his perfect chocolate brown eyes. He stared into my bright green ones, getting lost as well. I cleared my throat awkwardly and spoke up. "Well I better get going. I have some homework to do" I told him. "Okay. I'll text you soon" he nodded. We went our separate ways and I drove home, that same dark, lonely feeling returning.
