You looked outside, it was dark and the loud booms of thunder scared you. There was thunder and lightning, but no rain, which you found a bit odd. Rain had been your favorite part of it all. The loud noises scared you, reminded you of the accident that had made you a metahuman. The rain was like you, beautiful with the possibility of massive destruction.
"Hey babe." Maggie said and you turned to see her smiling at you. "What are you thinking about?"
"The rain." You said and she looked at you, smiling slightly. "It reminds me of myself. It can be pretty and helpful, but it can also ruin things easily."
"What exactly have you ruined?" Maggie asked and you looked at her. "Most of of it was an accident. You've helped a hell of a lot more than you've hurt. Which is exactly why I love you."
"You love me?" You asked and Maggie nodded. "Well, I love you too."
