You looked at yourself in the mirror and smiled. After today you were going to be Y/n Zor-El or Y/n Danvers to the rest of the world. Today was your wedding day to the love of your life and you couldn't be happier. You also couldn't be more nervous, but that honestly was part of the happiness. Nothing good in your life had come without invoking multiple feelings about things and that's how you knew that Kara was the one for you. You assumed that the way you felt when you were with her was what it was like being able to actually fly.

"Y/n, hurry up." Alex said, poking her head inside of your room. "You're not dressed yet? It starts in less than 15 minutes."

"I know, but like, I was really nervous and when I'm nervous I sweat and I don't want to look sweaty in the dress Alex." You said and Alex sat down next to you. She helped you into the dress after managing to get you onto your feet and then you met Kara's cousin Clark at the doors. "Thank you for agreeing to walk me down the aisle."

"Thank you for letting me, I can't imagine anybody else marrying my cousin." Clark said and you hugged him. He sniffled and you rubbed his back before the doors opened and some music started playing. Kara had picked the traditional bridal music where you'd went to the song that had been playing when you first kissed Kara. The two of you walked and you waited eagerly to see Kara.

"Good job." Lucy whispered in your ear and you smiled at your best woman. "I mean, I saw her earlier and she looks gorgeous. You're gonna rely on your self restraint for the next couple hours. Seriously, it's a lot."

"You're a lot." You said and Kara's music started. J'onn and Alex both walked her down the aisle and you bit back tears at how beautiful she looked. You mouthed 'hi' to her as she walked towards you and she giggled at you. When she was finally where she needed to be, the two of you joined hands.

"You look amazing." Kara said and you blushed, looking her up and down.

"Not nearly as gorgeous as you." You whispered, desperately wanting to lean in and kiss her. You turned to Veronica, who'd insisted on becoming an ordained minister for your wedding. "Ronnie, can we get a move on this, I believe I have a girl to kiss."

"Yeah, you do." Veronica said and like you'd arranged, Kara said her vows first. By the time she was done, there was barely a dry eye in the room. "Y/n, it's your turn."

"Okay, that's tough to follow." You said and everybody chuckled. "So, I haven't known you as long as anybody else in the room really, but I love you like I've known you all my life. Except every single time I see you, it's like the first time and I'm shocked at how fucking in love I am with you and I didn't rehearse this without the swearing, so I am so goddamn sorry, but you'll get the point no matter how I say it. Before you, it was like emotions didn't matter, everything was so basic and meaningless. But then you came into my life and every single day I know that I'm going to see you, I get happy and the only good feeling of anxiety. When I know you're in my life, it feels like flying."

By that point, it seemed the room was crying. Veronica let you kiss and she pulled you into the sweetest kiss of your relationship. You wanted desperately to deepen it, but as soon you thought of it, she pulled away and winked as the she dragged you to the party.
